:) kinda stunk they kept trying to switch cameras during his dance and each time a diva was in the way and you couldn't see it. Oh well.

Yeah, the reaction he was getting and what I did see had me in tears. I watched it about 10 times already: lol

I did DVR this weeks ECW, methinks I'm gonna watch it tomorrow to see what I've been missing out on!

Yeah, but after the whole Wrestlecrap live commentary of the Diva search she won, I just can't take her seriously. At all.

DEEVER.

Lashley's Gone! Now kids we all know that sometimes when a wrestler leaves, they're back again the very next week. That's why I'm presenting this sworn affidavit that Lashely will never, ever, ever return!

This document conforms to all applicable laws and statutes

Well, he may just end up in TNA or to go UFC like Brock.

We are now able to confirm that Bobby Lashley is gone from World Wrestling Entertainment. In a phone call placed to WrestlingNewsWorld.com's Ryan Gray, Lashley said that he is gone from the company. While he would not give any specifics he made it clear that he did not want to leave but had too due to circumstances beyond his control.

Lashley told WrestlingNewsWorld.com's Ryan Gray that he was training hard for a potential career in Mixed Martial Arts. The former ECW Champion said that despite the fact that he wanted to pursue an MMA career, it would not be with UFC.

Lashley would not comment on whether or not he would be interested in going to TNA Wrestling. He said that WWE has granted his release but it would not be announced until the paperwork was finalized.

I really liked him as a wrestler. Too bad he stunk on the mic. :/

Maybe he'll return someday.

Second_Coming of Bobby!

Thank Goodness. Lashley was one of the biggest wastes of a top spot Ive ever seen. A guy like Jeff probably wouldn't be seeing such a push with Lashley still in the picture, but what he's done the past few months>>>>>>> Lashley's career.

Ironic people called him "Black Lesnar" and he up and quit out of no where just like Brock did. It had to be over Kristal. Either that and he pulled a Masterpiece and got really small due to being injured and not being able to roid up because of the wellness program.

On the down side, WWE spent so much time on him.

On the bright side, TNA just got themselves a new main eventer. :lol

That's true, you KNOW they'll snag him quickly. Since the Bob Sapp thing fell through, why not get the same guy, just without any charisma?

He was enjoyable on Smackdown as the US champ. I dug him feuding with Finlay and Booker. He just shouldn't be in the main event any time soon.

I had the greatest idea ever on the bus.
When TNA (not if) finally picks up Lashley, they need to get one man else. And make the most dominant tag team in the history of sports enterainment.

Whoa... He's off the juice.

Looks REALLY small. Now I see why he got canned.

But on a positive note, he might now live to the age of 50.

He really was a tragedy waiting to happen.

I just got around to watching last nights ECW and I was excited the see the Chavo vs Punk match and it turns out that I didn't set my DVR to record past the "end" of the show so it cut the match off about halfway in :( so I wasn't actually able to see Chavito win the title. Otherwise, it was a pretty entertaining show... I suppose I'll have to start watching ECW again.

Not that I should associate with Cowards.
But they show ECW on WWE.com the day after so you can watch it now if you want.

does anyone else think that Lashley now looks like Wayne Brady?

Not that I typically get to associate with Wrestling Gods.

But thanks for letting me know about ECW on WWE.com:D

Here's a terrific interview that RVD just did with the Baltimore Sun that has some pretty interesting stuff in it:

Q: Do you watch wrestling at all on TV?

A: I don’t. Honestly, even while I was wrestling I wasn’t keeping up with it. That’s something that I lost interest in probably like in 1999, 2000, somewhere around there. Normally what I would do is TiVo the show that I was on, and when I would get home I would fast-forward through the show to my match, and I would download my match to save it and I would critique it, because it was all just about business for me. I would say, “OK, I need to jump a little higher here” or “this was a little slow.” It’s been just business for me for a long time. The passion got burned out a long time ago. Keeping up with it, watching it on TV would be like you watching other people work in a cubicle. That’s really what it felt like. I started looking at the crowd and I would say, “What are these people doing here? They watch this every week on TV, the same guys, and most of them don’t even try to be creative. They just try to be like someone they liked growing up and they steal everyone else’s moves.” And I’d look at the crowd and I’d say, “Why? Why do these people leave their homes to come out and see this?” That’s how burned out I was, and that’s when I knew I needed a break.

Q: You just mentioned Triple H. To me, the title program that you had with him in 2002 was sort of a turning point in your WWE career. He said in his promos that you weren’t in his league and the way the program was designed seemed to indicate that as well. What was working with Triple H like for you? Was it contentious at all in the back when you were going over your matches?

A: It was ingenuine. Just like when he pretends that he cares when he says, “Hey, how’s it going today? OK, good, good.” And he just has that smugness about him where you know when he’s walking away from you that he’s rolling his eyes or something. There’s something about that kind of guy that vibrates at such a different speed than me, that I don’t enjoy being around someone like that. I’m genuine. I don’t say anything about anybody that I won’t say to their face, and somebody that’s the opposite and puts up a big front – basically, that’s how they do it there. That is how you get to the top there. Traditionally, that seems to be the way to go – to stab people in the back, to hold them down after you can’t go up any higher yourself. I was never going to go that way, so I was always happy just making it as far as I could and just looking at it professionally. Going over a match – that’s professionalism, too. When you’re out there in the ring with somebody, you bring what you bring to the table and so do they, and it’s all business beforehand. Now, once you’re out there in the ring, then anything can go, and that’s when it helps to know that you can handle yourself and defend yourself.

To be honest, there’s a lot of matches where you’re so on the edge, you’re just hoping that they catch you really stiff so you can receipt them and nail them one back. I had a lot of matches with Chris Jericho like that. They were great matches, but those were some of the matches when I was adjusting coming in in 2001. Jericho, his politics frustrated me so much that when I’d be in the ring with him, I was pretty sure I was going be busting him open and it was going be a receipt. He was going to give it to me and I was going give it back to him. That’s one way to do business.

Alot of great quotes in the interview. The stuff about Jericho playing backstage politics in 2001 surprised me a bit.

RVD needs to look at his own history a bit. When he came in originally he had developed a bad reputation for being sloppy and "potato" shooting people. Routinely leaving people after the match with a black eye or busted lip because he couldn't control his legs.

It goes both ways.

He addresses that in the interview.

It all started on a whim. He just did an impression of his favorite wrestler... which happened to be Randy Savage. The crowd got behind it and insisted he keep doing it... it evolved from there. Randy Savage has given the gimmick his blessing.

I'm a couple days late on the Lashley news, but...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! *digs it!*

I've been enjoying Lashley and Cena-free Raw and it looks I'll get to until at least post-WrestleMania.

Neat @ Jim Ross re-upping for two years.
