So pissed I didn't get Rumble tickets. I think I'm going to the GAB in July though.
I don't know where you live so I don't know how feasible it may be.
But should keep an eye on ticketmaster/craig's list for tickets.
I remember the last Raw at the garden, tickets opened up the day of the event. So you may luck out.

This is of course assuming you are near enough to the city. :lol

I'm in New Brunswick now, so yeah, a hour train right to the Garden....I could do it, but I think I'll sit it out.

Over at GameTap we've started a new feature with Christian Cage where he'll be talking about gaming on the road. The interesting part is that he's actually writing the column himself and really knows his stuff. He's like, one of the top ranked Top Spin 2 players in the world too.

http://www.gametap.com/home/read/article/3362

I was moving up the rankings pretty fast, and I thought to myself, "I’ll play TS2 until I reach No. 1, and then I’ll break the disc and never play it again." Didn’t happen. I was ranked 52 and playing some guy from England; we were in a tie break in the final set, and for some reason this dude just starts hitting lob shots on every return. It threw me off, and I lost my concentration and the game. So afterwards, I’m asking the guy why he did that. We get into an argument (I’m really cool, right?), and next thing I know the door to my game room swings open and my wife is standing there glaring at me like a mother scolding a child, with her hands on her hips. I say to the guy in a calm voice, “I gotta go” (did I mention how cool I am?). Needless to say, that was my last game of Top Spin 2.

There should be a new entry once a month I believe.

If given the choice between Great American Bash or the Rumble...

You going with GAB? :lol

It's cool though.

Guh, I hate to whore it out twice in one day, but apparently we're having a big wrasslin' kick. Anyway, interview with Jeff Hardy from just after his big leap on Raw. Here's the crazy part-

http://www.gametap.com/home/read/article/3364

Hardy laughs as I ask him about the crazy 30-foot Swanton he dropped on Randy Orton a few weeks ago on Raw. "That was a good beginning one," he tells me, "but at Wrestlemania, I'd still like to go higher."

How high?

"That's what I have to stop and ask myself, how much higher can I go? Thirty feet felt like 50 the other night, but I will just have to wait and see if the right opportunity rolls around for something bigger. Hopefully that's at Wrestlemania, but we'll see."

Hardy to die at Wrestlemania, confirmed.

I think it is just you.

My CW picture seems crisp.
Could also be that this is my first WWE HD program so.

So-so show. I don't think many will care about the Palumbo heel turn, I think Noble's face turn has bigger potential.

And who doesn't <3 Morrison and his intro.

I'm having some issues on Cox with the audio dropping and lots of macroblocking on scenes with a lot of motion. Other HD channels are looking fine. Not sure if it's WWE's fault or CW's, but it sucks.

this is OTA CW (lossless PNG). It seems like the all those LED's eat up the bitrate (see flair pic). Seems they never gave that a thought when they were designing it.

edit: http://i28.tinypic.com/2lw7zvn.jpg o_o i'm pretty sure the cw channel here has some issues.

Some CW affiliates aren't HD ready.

And now me not going to the Rumble is kind of bothering me. A bunch of my friends are going. I didn't go to Summerslam when I had the chance last year and now the rumble, and instead I'm choosing to go to GAB. Fuck, what the hell am I thinking.

Jobber: It's looking great OTA for me on CW Richmond. Plug in some rabbit earses.

The overscan on my CRT kinda sucks, though. The WWE HD logo just barely fits into the image I'm seeing.

this one has been broadcasting in "HD" for almost 2 years

no wonder the divx rips of CW shows looked better than what I got :lol

Undertaker's entrance was lame

edit: rabbit ears sux where I'm located. The station is running their HD antenna at low power like 40 miles away from me

What the hell?
My channel starts to broadcast in SD in the last 2 minutes. :lol

Awesome main event and beginning match.

I felt disappointed. None of the intros seem much better with the new sets

SEC 328 ROW A

If I finally agree to it tomorrow.

I may end up kicking myself about this, but hey, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

i think my friend has the tv set up wrong, because it's definitely in high def (we went back and forth to the regualr CW), but it's like... zoomed in. like i can't see the wwehd logo.

i'll have to tinker more with it next friday i guess

It could be the setting if through the cable box. I set it to zoom because well non-HD channels get on my nerves.

or it could just be the signal.

Sweet.
Another one bites the dust.

Well, I know this probably won't happen but there is like a mini-GAF group going to the Rumble. Maybe if folks are interested could meet up at the FAN aXXESS on Sunday before the PPV.

Just a thought.

I noticed the macro-blocking on my feed from Cox too. Didn't have any audio problems in the 30 mins I managed to catch.

You have CW HD on Cox Cable :( I have Cox Cable too but no CW HD, at least I know now that if they have it somewhere, it's gotta come to my area sometime... hopefully.

That Warrior thing on Heath Ledger... it's pretty poorly timed and tasteless.

I may have to convert from destrucity to Macho Madness.

looks like I'm all alone for the TNA show tonight. Sucks, but I'm not missing the show. The card looks great and should be fun. I'll post pics when I get home tonight. I should be able to get a few more signatures to boot!

The TNA show last night was a BLAST... too bad the facility was a disorganized MESS. One ticket window, cash only for EVERYTHING, and only 2 port a johns for bathrooms. Bad idea when you have about 1000 people there. I literally waited 30 minutes to piss.

Show ran for about 2 hours and was pretty solid. I did end up missing the opening match because of the shit facility.

Some pics (took a while to figure it out due to the lighting there...)

I look like such a fucking goober in this pic. I don't know what's going on with that dopey look of mine.

Kurt Angle looks even worse than you. :lol

I actually kinda felt bad for the guy, I had to slump down a bit just so I could fit in the picture with him. He's SHORT, but has this giant melon-head.

Haha, holy hell you look a *ton* like a good friend of mine from Leetonia.

I about shat myself when TNA announced they were doing a house show 20 miles from the ROH show Friday. Unfortunately I couldn't go to either one, since my wife if 9 months pregnant. :lol

I'm using Winamp on my PC and want to know what I have to do to get a live video feed to stream from my PC to my 360.

For example, WWE Royal Rumble is tonight. I use a winamp stream to watch it usually... how do I take that LIVE stream and buffer it to my 360 using winamp remote?

Help?

I thought he was 6'2". That's not that short.
nowhere near 6' 2". I'm 6' 8", he's 5' 11" at MOST.

He came up to my shoulder then I had to slump a bit to make sure we were both in the pic. One things is for sure, those ring ropes are TIGHT and that mat has no give to it.

Vince McMahon has given his approval for a storyline involving incest. The angle would involve Ohio Valley Wrestling wrestlers Katie Lea and Paul Burchill. The angle would likely take place on either ECW or Raw, because there is some concern that it would get the wrong kind of heat if it were to take place on SmackDown -- which is on network television.

McMahon has wanted to do an incest angle for years. He once suggested that he be the father of his daughter Stephanie's baby. As revealed on the McMahon DVD, Stephanie turned down the angle. According to her, Vince was to reveal himself as the father of her baby; when she said no, he pushed for Shane to be the father, but he turned that idea down as well.

The incest idea was first batted around in 1999 where Ken Shamrock and Ryan Shamrock (his storyline sister) would end up as lovers. Ken nixed the idea and that was the beginning of the end of his push at the time. There is some irony in the angle as Ken and Ryan ended up as a real-life couple at around the same time frame. Obviously, she is not his real-life sister. Later that year in May 1999, Headbanger Mosh was renamed "Beaver Cleavage," a reference to the TV series Leave It to Beaver. He appeared in black-and-white vignettes with his "mother," fitness model Marianna Komlos portraying "Mrs. Cleavage." The two would exchange sexual innuendos (e.g. Mrs. Cleavage would offer Beaver some of "Mother's milk" when he complained that his cereal was dry). After one in-ring appearance, the gimmick was scrapped. A few weeks later, they did a backstage segment where Mosh said that his real name was Chaz. He ridiculed the Beaver Cleavage gimmick and identified "Mrs. Cleavage" as his girlfriend, Marianna Komlos, in a "shoot-style" interview. - 24Wr

WTF is with Vince's fascination with incest?

Well, I'm off. My phone doesn't have a browser so I can't do any updates from MSG.

Now I'm so glad I got a ticket, because I get to see Ric Flair before he retires.

comcast better fucking carry the HD feed tonight.

they've been dicking around all week with different answers.

Chris Jericho over JBL by Countut
Ric Flair over MVP
Randy Orton via the Rko over Jeff Hardy
Rey Mysterio with help by cm punk over Edge
