In his facebook post he claimed this was all BDSM and he had clear consent.
ALOT of women are into that whole 50-shades of Grey thing so why isn't his story plausible?

And these women are only coming forward now. Why wait till he gets fired? And this was all after a jealous ex went and stalked his previous ex's and tried to get them to come forward.

Your not serious, are you?
This has to be a joke post.

Any women who are still afraid to come forward should recognize that the dude is against the ropes now...he's proper fucked and they can only add ammunition to the number of bullets that Ghomeshi is being riddled with at the moment.

I hope he's reduced to podcasting from his BDSM dungeon with Big Ears Teddy as his co-host for the rest of his miserable little life.

The fact that a woman in The Star article name checks Jian's "teddy" and there's this Twitter account from April is pretty sickening.

Jian is really sadistic. It's beyond creepy.

And why does every guy on Earth communicate online like a fucking moron?

Choke and slap first, call it off if she's not into it—that would appear to fit Ghomeshi's deeply fucked up MO.

My theory is that Ghomeshi's MO has been to initiate rough sex—become violent in the lead-up to a sexual encounter—and that he either believes or intends to argue that this was how got a woman's consent. If he became violent and they didn't respond negatively or didn't leave or if they returned, he saw that as consent. If they reacted negatively, if they were unhappy, he stopped.

Also, a Big Ears Teddy shout out in his book: http://books.google.ca/books?id=bzi...0CCQQuwUwAQ#v=onepage&q=Big Ears jian&f=false

So far this just seems like a public humiliation attempt.

In his facebook post he claimed this was all BDSM and he had clear consent.

I mean who doesn't have at least one crazy ex who would turn on you in an instant if she had the power to hurt you?

At least let the story settle and develop before making harsh judgments.
Are you fucking serious? People like you are why women are afraid to come out against pieces of shit like this guy. This post is embarrassing.

w o w at the bigearsteddy account and the fact that he has a fucking teddy bear he named big ears teddy

I feel like I need to shower.

So Jian Ghomeshi isn't working in Canada ever again. Assuming he doesn't go straight to jail.

Also, Lights' hero is a serial woman-beater. I'm sure that's nice to know.

He has no out now. Too much going against him, hopefully more women come out to speak against this sick fuck.

I'd never even head of this guy before this thread, not being Canadian. The impression from all the posts and linked articles is that he's a guy who doesn't take 'no' for an answer and likes to spring up his BDSM moves on people who are not into that scene. Terrible, terrible combo. Of course, I could be wrong, but it'll be interesting to see how this unfolds.

So they've got emails and FB messages on him. Wonder what else is going to come out.

Absolutely disgusting.

From that Twitter account:

BREAKING NEWS: @jianghomeshi keeps an impressive anthology of videos and photos of the young girls he chokes out... #howromantic #rapecultre

Yes, a friendly FYI @jianghomeshi to cement your great depression, snuck a viddy of you punching me – OOPS this is my confession #staytuned

Yeah there's probably a camera in that stuffed bear.

It was shocking to Canadians I think because he's soft spoken to the point it's stereotypically Canadian in interviews he did on radio and tv yet he's doing that shit all along.

I'm glad the CBC fired him. I think none of this information would've seen the light of day otherwise.

It is a bit disappointing to know that if he had kept this all under wraps, he might have gotten away with it.

I'm worried that we're going to learn that the CBC was aware of his behaviour but tried, in essence, to cover it up. I don't love our public broadcaster, but I think it does serve a useful purpose, and I worry that revelation like that could kill it.

I think it's pretty clear some people at CBC knew something for years.

Also, last Friday CBC was just giving Ghomeshi a break instead of firing him, so they were still protecting him (so might say they were covering it up). I wouldn't give them any credit here.

Another woman just came out: http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/reva-s...hi_b_6077296.html?ncid=tweetlnkushpmg00000067

I distinctly remember the jarring sense of suddenly being abruptly shaken out of my reverie. I remember thinking "what the fuck is going on here? What's wrong with him?" Jian had his hands around my throat, had pulled down my pants and was aggressively and violently penetrating me with his fingers. When it was over, I got up and it was clear I was really angry. My sexual interactions until then had always been consensual, enjoyable and fun.

Pretty disappointed in Lights statement, Owen Pallett's was the correct way to go about it.

It's Jian's ego that has fucked him. CBC offered to tell the press that Ghomeshi was leaving of his ow free will, or it was a mutual decision. Ghomeshi had too much pride, launched a lawsuit and tried to get the FB story out in front to frame the discussion o his terms. He doesn't do that, i think he would've gotten away with it.

Look at the timing. I'm not on FB, did Lights retract like Elizabeth May did? Owen Pallett made his statement after The Star article, while other people made statements too quickly,

I almost tweeted something in support the day the story broke... But I thought to myself, let's see what the next twenty-four hours brings.

That PR firm, Navigator, just dropped him. Can't spin Big Ears Teddy.

True, I think she removed it now, but she really should have waited for details before throwing her support behind a woman beater and berating the CBC.

At that huffpo article... in any type of BDSM, there's always agreement on both parties on what's tolerable and what's not and fully knowing the fantasy they're going to engage in. There's *always* communication.

BDSM doesn't happen spontaneously with another party unaware. Either he has no idea how the fetish works or it's something beyond that and he has anger issues with women.

I'm starting to even question his BDSM stuff - I wonder if he actually has a Fetlife account or actual partners to attest to it.

You can be into BDSM without a fucking fetlife account. Sorry, I just hate that fucking site.

"Do you know what a shit-rope is, Jian? It's a rope covered with shit that criminals try to hang on to. Y’see, the shit acts like grease, and the harder you tighten your grip, the more you slide down it”.

"Do you feel that boy? The way the shit clings to the air. Shit blizzards coming"

Mr. Lahey is a god.

Glad I waited to comment. Looks like no consent was given and he is an asshole. Unless he has videos of his own to prove there was consent he is fucked for life. And that he does is unlikely since the victims appear to have videos to their own.

Yup. Time to Arrest this guy.

I dunno, man. I've seen some interesting porn out there, but this dude is giving blows to the head like a Tyson match.

That's why I'm calling him a fucking moron.

edit: I'm not saying he isn't a shitty person, but rather he's overwhelmingly stupid first.

No, I got that part! I just mean, well, I'm curious as to where he got the tendency. I agree overall, but the entire story is just. Well.
wtf.gif

Yeah the firing could be CBC trying to save its own skin. Looks bad for everyone involved.

It's Jian's ego that has fucked him. CBC offered to tell the press that Ghomeshi was leaving of his ow free will, or it was a mutual decision. He probably panicked and realized he was doomed regardless. The lawsuit and FB post look like desperation in hindsight, but it did lead to a lot of "wait and see" reactions (which aren't wrong).
