I love Norm as a comedian, but I don't think you guys want him talking about politics.
Seriously, I need John during Hilary's campaign/reign
Yea, wasn't expecting this, maybe Jason Jones will take over.
maybe he could do it..... but Idk he doesn't have that stewart level of indignation that is needed to convey how stupid people in politics truly are
Yeah this is terrible There is no replacement.Colbert, then Ferguson, and now Stewart. This has been a sad year for late night TV.
This is depressing. We're going to lose two of the greatest American satirists within the span of 12 months. That's such a bummer. They were up there with Mark Twain.
I wonder if Stewart will do more movies now. I was surprised that Rosewater didn't expand into many theaters and seemingly lost money. I have a spot in my heart for the hope he makes a contemporary "Mr Smith Goes to Washington", but I don't think it'll ever happen.
What a sad day...
Eh it's about time I'd say. The recent correspondents have been lacking (especially Jessica), with the exception of the South African dude.

Are Comedy Central cutting costs or what?
How do we make this happenTime for The Daily Show with Norm Macdonald!
I guess that was the cue but I kind of just took it as Stewart was going to slowly take a more backseat approach. Taking extended breaks every year or other year to pursue new projects. Allowing the show to sort of take on new identities from time to time like with Oliver at the helm.I doubt it. 10, 15 years (respectively) is a long time. I guess the writing was on the wall with Stewart's new film. He wants to do new things. Good for him. Doesn't mean I won't miss him on the Daily Show.
I don't, but the continued popularity of the show is quite literally contributing to problems in the city I live in, which is Portland. Then don't watch it? I can't imagine going through life watching things you hate.
