Can you poor in alcohol even if your lifebar is full? I'll be honest, I barely used alcohol in any Yakuza games before, but here it almost sounds like it works as a 3rd fighting style.

Do we have any heat action in the game similar to the one were you side step forward, in the direction of the enemy and then press triangle, like the one Kiryu has where he practically insta transports himself from enemy to enemy? I can't remember the name of the heat action to show you guys but it's from Yakuza 3.

I haven’t tried but I don’t think you can. Especially if the alcohol level is 9 then you can’t drink anymore

There’re plenty of heat action and the variety is unreal. Wall jumping, taunting then executing, on the ground, on the air...etc

It can get a little clunky at times yes.

Also even if you climb the wall, timing the following attack sometimes doesn't work 100%. I can count countless times where I attacked and didn't hit nobody while having enemies near me.

It’s not the most accurate attack in the game. He just wall jump and try to connect with anyone near but sometimes he just punches the air

You don't need to be holding X when wall jumping. Just tap it once and youll sprint and jump off it.

Nah it isn’t. 1080p/30fps on Pro and 900p/30fps on standard PS4. No HDR

No, you cant do that. Need to lock R1 for dodge too.

Guys later on the first chapter, when you're in KJ Art building, try to find all the codes, because there's a skill book behind one of those doors, and if you miss it the skill only unlocks on chapter 5. Yakuza vets will easily note the absence of that skill in combat.

I had to repeat the section because I missed it and it's skill that I previously used a lot in Yakuza games.

Also, what's up with cats during clues sections? Is there any trophy related to that?

I believe you can even shortcut booze as a D-pad item and drink in mid-fight. The only thing you can't do is drinking with your health full.

In talking about the 4 digit codes for the doors: one you really need to find it, but the other can be missable.

As for the QR code I read something about those on the web but didn't paid much attention, because I assumed the game would made a small introduction to them, or doesn't it? I haven't found anything in that regard.

EDIT: Did a quick search, QR codes activate on chapter 2.

Depends if you got the drinking skills or not. If you got them then you'll get sober faster than normal
I reached to a point where even if the alcohol is level 9, I get fully sober after a fight

Totally missed that skill book. Which one is it?

There is a trophy related to finding all of the cats during the clue sections. If you miss one you have to start from scratch. The final one is in Legend mode from what I read.

Nice to know about the cats. I think so far I got all of them. Good thing they do some noise to alert when one is in the area, otherwise I would have missed them all.

A combo that mixes square and triangle attacks, right? Because triangle only is not even a combo, it always repeats the same attack.

Trying to pull EX Finishing Blow but so far nada, and weirdly enough it's description is identical to EX Knockout.

Gotta try it out then. I guess I'm trying advanced EX moves too much earlier in the game, because both my EX gauge and enemies health is very short.

I'm 7 hours in, still on chapter one lol.
