July Wrasslin’ |OT| The Ring’s a Field, the Field of War, That’s Where We Lay the Law

Yeah. We need a good "is this a shoot? This IS a shoot" moment now.

WWE needs to do shit right in this day and age. Have someone "go off script" or give out a beatdown, only give the BRIEFEST of footage and have Cole/Lawler scramble to get people away from it, have the people in question get unfollowed by @WWE and others, maybe even delete their accounts...

Could you imagine?

If they somehow get Punk back, he would be the perfect guy to do it with. Pipebomb 2...WITH BASEBALL BATS, THE COWARD!

I remember the time when Matt Hardy was a big deal in the WWE against Edge. They even did their best not to mention him by name for a while.

I also remember Matt Hardy going crazy.

I remember him eating a lot. Once I got a DVR, I think I fast forwarded every single one of his matches. Don't know what it was.

Punk pipebomb was so damn obvious from the start.

"hey, here's a guy about to shit on the McMahons. let's film him instead of cutting to commercial."

still a good promo, before Punk began using the real names for heat.

Question for everyone, what do you usually watch each week? For instance...

I watch NXT every week. A PPV from WWE if one is up, I glance at Impact segments occasionally. Watch NJPW shows usually via VOD and I will watch Shimmer and Shine whenever I have time and they do a show. Usually watch Raw segments when encouraged via Review-A-Raw. Rarely touch SD ever. Watch probably two eps of old footage on the Network every week.

What's yours?

I watch Raw live on Mondays, NXT on Fridays at work on the Network, and Smackdown on Saturday at work on Hulu+. I've only missed one live PPV since I started watching back at Wrestlemania 10 and that's because I had to go to my Grandma's funeral. I also watch Countdown every week, was watching Wrestlemania Rewind before they stopped making new ones, and have watched the interesting episodes of Beyond the Ring. I'm currently watching all the SNME they've uploaded chronologically at work and I'm up to episode 5.

I remember Edge totally killing Matt Hardy in about two minutes at Summerslam 2005 and completely derailed that whole thing.

Anyone got a link to the Sting promo vid? I missed it FF'ing through RAW last night, saw an orchestra and assumed it was a commercial.

If you had to guess, how many avatars featuring a black wrestler(s) and/or diva(s) would you say you've seen in this thread lately?

Want to see a race problem, jack? Look in the mirror.

Bjork is the only person here with a black person in his avatar and it isn't even a wrestler.

Side note big e would be interesting if he was something gimmick wise....same with 90 percent of the roster tho

Thanks to the Sting commercial I went to watch him terrorizing the NWO throughout 1997;

Some of the stuff they did took ridiculous practice and rehearsal. In particular the one where Bischoff and Hogan are berating Fake Sting, and Sting comes down from the rafters literally a foot behind Bischoff. He had to be accurate as hell there.

Though it was REALLY WEIRD to see him in non-Crow form, just the black and white paint, in like late 96. And talking.

Iota amazing that this is the same company that did Viagra on a pole match es

Fave Five WrassleGAFFERS (no order):

2- Friend Lambda
3- Friend Heel
4- Friend Gorillaz
5- Titus

Honorable Mention: Duncan. Not because I like him, but because trolling him is so easy, and has provided me with many hours of entertainment.

Oh so you're one of those apathetic "I don't see race" types. IF YOU AREN'T PART OF THE SOLUTION YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

Wait does this mean you're going to hit me with the F-U like Cena did on Teddy

Honestly, I think a lot of the moments people remember from that era of WCW were due to Bischoff. He seemed to be very keen on betting big with TV moments, especially with Sting. He missed with Glacier, but he nailed it with Sting

Again, if you aren't even going to list Plywood or Laserfrog don't bother making a list.
