'Jump' for joy - Lords of the Fallen 2.0 is nearly here

PSA: This is 20€ ATM on the PS store (new spring sales), get itttttt !
I have the base game and started playing it a couple weeks ago. I also noticed the deluxe upgrade is on sale for like 75% off.

I don't care about the 3d model viewer, digital art book, or digital soundtrack and it sounds like the Dark Crusader starting class can be unlocked in game. Is there anything else included with the upgrade? Is it worth it?

I think you got everything covered MAL, the base game is just fine 😉

It's a patch. There is a sequel in the work, but it's pretty obvious that it's a patch.

The amount of work they've done on this game is amazing. I got it at launch and it was rough, but jumped back in when patch 1.6 dropped and got the platinum. It was really good and I enjoyed it a lot
Really really good game. I never quite understood how the game hasn't got more recognition. The level design and art direction are on point and the combat feels impacful and satisfying. It's just such a good game 🤷

Well, it's on sale for $18 on PC

Might grab it but wait until 2.0 to play it. Can't see jumping in on 1.7 when a new significant update is apparently almost here.

I dropped it at launch because it felt sluggish and I hated how combat felt. I went back after 1.7 and it was not bad at all. Started from scratch and had a great time. I will probably go back at some point. I like how much they're supporting their game. There's patches and then there's game icon showcasing the version of the game like it's some major addition to the game. It made me glad that I dropped it so I could play stuff I hadn't seen before with all of the QoL features.

I tried the very first game and didn't care for it. I feel like gamers get over games rather quick. I'm the same way, but I also don't like a clone just because it's a clone. I think the very first LotF was too close to From's Dark Souls launches that it felt unnecessary. This is great because it's years after the fact.
