Lords of The Fallen 2.0 Announced - Full seamless co-op

I hate Type A/B options as much as most people here, but to be fair, the poll was kinda biased because it was done in X of all places.

The dev team should have send the poll via in-game or via multiple sites if they really cared about the players voice.

Honestly, if it was me, I just own it and do the change and say fuck it, the Type A/B bullshit doesn't really fit our vision and we change it because we want to give players better choices on female options. This whole poll thing was like shooting a bullet and passing the gun to the crowd to say that they forced your hand.
I wont say you are wrong... but given the fact they admitted 1.7 sales were over their forecast... I would say this X poll was the correct call.

Awesome Souls-like. Cool art direction. Great level design. Meaty combat. Double dipping on PC for the improved online features. Would be mice with a cross save feature so I could move over my PS5 save instead of creating a new character.

Kacho Kacho should i play this or khazan next?
Khazan punts this game IMO. I'm talking Tom Brady on 3rd down.

If you can get LotF for cheap (like sub $20) go with that but Khazan is way better.

I finished this game on launch, I had a great time with it
The world design was and I guess still one of the greatest, it reminded me of Dark Souls 1
Combat and mobility weren't very tight back then, but I think they fixed that now.
All in all I really recommend it, I'm hopping on a 2nd playthrough with this update.
I hope it's a lot less janky and reached it's best potential

I may give this another shot, 1.0 was one of the worst Souls like experiences i ever had, lets see If they saved this game.

Lords of the Fallen was a game that I really enjoyed, but only because I jumped onboard after the transformative 1.5 patch which overhauled many parts of the game.

For $30 to $40, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It's gameplay isn't as tight as Lies of P, but the world is better and the graphics are a sight to behold on PC, Playstation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X.

How soullike hard is this? If it's not too crazy hard than I might try it out for that 20 dollar sales price.

Out of all the souls-likes out there, this is one of the easiest ones - if not the easiest one 😉

I found it to be so easy and chill (especially after finishing Lies of P and Wukong) that it ALMOST felt like an action adventure game and not a typical souls-like...

Mind you, it's still hard in some spots, BUT, it's waaaay more forgiving than most games in its genre (something which I found it to be a positive thing).

An amazing update to an already amazing game. I already have the platinum, but I'm going to re-install it and check it out. Curious to see what it looks like on PS5 Pro as well. So it's a win win for me. Seriously, don't sleep on LoTF, it's amazing
PS5 Pro patch is real good.

Remember there are 2 versions of this. The old PS4 game is not the same game as this one and I think they are confusingly named the same thing. Make sure you are getting the modern Lords of the Fallen game. On PSN it did not appear to be 20 dollars for me. I may just be dumb.

However, I was able to buy 2 copies on amazon for 19.99 each just now. One for me and one for my bro, PS5 version. Good times!
Yeah the base game (of the new version) is currently on sale for $19.59 https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP4321-PPSA07064_00-4092020589534297

Also according to the blurb on the PSN store there's a free friends pass so the second person isn't supposed to need their own copy of the game to play with you. They do need their own copy to play single player though.

I love you Kach but :
They're so different that they might as well be games in different genres all together brother...

Khazan = basically Nioh, very action focused, mission based design, arcade-y, zero atmosphere.
70 Eurdollars.

LOTF = Souls-like with emphasis on exploration, typical interconnected levels ala' FROM, amazing graphics, even better atmosphere.
20 Eurodollars at the moment.

They're both good but they're very different.

Personally, from what I've played of Khazan so far (just beat the Spider cave boss)...My vote would still go to LOTF just for the easier difficulty, beautiful, atmospheric graphics and actual exploration (which Khazan has 0 of it).

😘

Did they fix or give an option to disable the camera auto-following you? This game gave me such bad motion sickness that I had to get a refund.

I like both games but I'd be hesitant to recommend Lords of the Fallen because of how jank it was when I played it.

I agree that the levels in LotF are better / more interesting. Khazan has the better combat and bosses.

LotF does look sick tho. A couple of my screens.

Looks like it's time for a rerun of this game.

Beat it with my brother but we were both a bit disappointed with the ending. Still, it had a lot to love too. Gonna give it another shake!

I'm just finding out about this game not sucking myself and actually researched this before my purchase above.

Combat was overhauled in the recent 1.7 patch I believe.

There are not a ton of places online that have this info. Like try finding out what gamers think of this game after 1.7 is tougher than most other games. That means that MANY people looking for this info will find this thread, actually. I will try to post back about the game after I complete it to say if it really is great now or not, but that may be a while since I need to complete Metaphor first.
There's an OT for all you new and returning lamp bearers 🍻

Ass cheek slider in or waiting for 2.1?
They have a triangle with muscular, thin, and fat that can be used to alter physique as well as a skin tone toggle but no sliders for any discrete part. The triangle with alterable faces offers much more control.

TLDR: No sliders.

The fact that they continue to polish this game, even after announcing they're working on the sequel well over a year ago, is pretty awesome. They're reminding me of how CDPR handled Witcher 3 after it's rocky launch (especially on PS4).

Kudos to them. I still haven't played through it completely, but will definitely be highly interested in the sequel.

It was 75% off on PS store so I bought it yesterday, I had no idea there was also a big update released.
How's performance on PS5 nowadays?

Redownloaded it. It does feel way better. The movement is more grounded and solid feeling over the somewhat floatiness of it before. Also, I forgot about the modifiers that you can activate. Random enemies, random loot, pre upgraded loot based on the level you are, etc. Having a fun time starting a new game. The jump button is so nice.

So help me out here is this Lord's of the fallen 2014 or part 2 of lords of the fallen 2014 2.0 because I could have sworn it was called lords of the fallen 2

I tried the trial version, but it didn't really click with me. Everything about it felt clunky: Combat, animations, the hidden realm stuff....I had a constant feeling of been there done that, but much better. The visuals were also kinda meh, I was expecting more from Unreal 5 with lumen. Seems like they saved me 20 euros so respect.

Quick question for anyone who played it since update or more recently...

On PS5 can we change the sprint button bind yet? I think I asked here like half a year ago. Its the one thing holding me back. I try avoid games that make you use the left stick click in to sprint. Hurts my wrist :(

In the settings menu on PC you can rebind any button so I'd think PS5 would let you do the same.

Is someone willing to guide me to the last beacon? I cannot find the way for the life of me. Add me on PS5.

Now I bought the game. It looks amazing.
Combat seems good, although I only played a bit.
But not a fan of the lamp gameplay mechanic.
