For the type of show it was and what it did, ~37500 sales is pretty respectable.

Heres a strange comparison.

Engaged:

Series average: 6,225.

Nisekoi:

Series average: 5,794

Though, Nisekoi's purpose was to boost the manga sales through the roof (which it did), Engaged still sold better.

Note: These are just BD sales.

And im pretty sure Nisekoi is in Shonen Jump and is already on its 13th volume in 3 years.


I haven't even looked at how much of Engaged has been adapted, and what they had to do to adapt it.

Hopefully it stays this good.
