Hmmm all the regulars on GAFA are pretty good. In reality I think I am the worst GAFA player, and Fersis (sorry bro) is the worst GAFe player. Played with him a few times and he just stood still taking my bullets. I think JardeL is the best GAFe player I call him the silent assassin.

"Glitches and game freezes are more problems with the game. I’m glad GG is finally fixing some of the out-of-map glitches but they haven’t caught/fixed all of them yet. Game freezes have become less common since they fixed the Saboteur glitch that crashed entire rooms. But I’ve been noticing the game is freezing more often recently, after the latest patch…. specifically when trying to join certain rooms. The game completely freezes the PS3 when at around the “syncing clients” screen. I estimate that I’ve had 30+ freezes during the 2 months I’ve been playing KZ2. The sound glitches are also happening more frequently for some reason. Not sure if it’s just me and my PS3, but KZ2 occasionally has sound drop offs, static-filled sound, missing sound effects, or complete game silence. I know it’s also happened to some people on the official KZ.com forums. I do have to say, though, the sound effects in KZ2 is very good. But that’s kind of expected in such a high caliber game with such high production value."

But yeah, I think you're right. KZ2 never froze on me until recently... probably around when one of the more recent patches was released. Fortunately I've never experienced that sound issue you seem to have. I have had static filled sound in other PS3 games at some point, but I think that was because of the craptacular speakers and sketchy wiring system I was using at the time.

Yeah, that really wouldn't make sense because you can't even go online unless you install the latest patch, so you wouldn't be able to create a room (unless that the room has been running for so long that it was originally created with a different version), but even so, other people that do have the latest version are able to join these rooms without a problem.

Another possibility that I tend to gravitate towards is to blame Comcast.

It just happened to me two times consecutively while attempting to join clan members. Never happened before the update.

32 players are great as long as people don't all rush right into the same area (except in S&D where people SHOULD be rushing into the same area).

Me and Lyulf and CJ and Shagg and Lunlunqq and BigE were in a few games where a bunch of the non-gaffers just kind of stood back and tried to get kills, which was kind of annoying, especially when we were trying to defend in S&D. We were triumphant though.

I noticed that in Vekta if you have an ok team you can spawn camp the Helghast indefinitely. There is no way you can really defend that. You can put the spawns relatively close to where Helghst originally spawn with little to no penalty. Sure I was killing my own team mates and that had something to do with our inability to leave our base, but you can put two spawns at the entrances and it is game over lights out.

In a couple of days I will post my different ideas and you guys can tell me what you think. I am also trying to use maps to explain different capture points, hotspots etc.. just give me some more time to flesh things out.

Snipers are tricksters. But in a more indirect way that Sabs.

Snipers make you believe you are safe when you really arent. They make you believe youre in the clear when you clearly arent. Youre fucking with my illusion of safety whenever you shoot me so naturally Im gonna feel hostile towards you... I may even hump your face after I kill you... or stand over your body pumping bullets into you because I know youre watching :lol . There have been times where a sniper killed me and I spawned back at the base just so I could come ALL the way around the level just to kill him from behind...

and it felt good.

Played with some JP players tonight (or at least their PSN looked Japanese), good to see, hopefully the game sells decent there.

Also I gotta give myself a pat on the back for getting a 99 point round, I've never done that in any shooter. Actually I've never been able to keep my K/D ratio above 1 in an online shooter until Killzone 2.

I started playing online shooters by playing Halo 2 sporadically on my friend's XBox, and I've played a lot of online shooters this generation, from Warhawk to COD4 to Halo 3 to UT3 and my K/D ratio has always been below 1, usually around .7, so GAF tell me, am I getting better at shooting games or is Killzone 2 easier (or more fair) than those other games?
