Yeah and I'm saying it just hasn't been fun to play for me.

Yes, because shooting endless waves of retard cannon fodder is so ace.Warm Machine said:Yeah and I'm saying it just hasn't been fun to play for me.

Well i can say i agree with both sides, theres some stuff that killed killzone 2 for me and stuff that killed resistance 2. the BIG difference for me between the two is that with killzone i can play and totally lose track of time, i cant tell you how many hours ive put in, but i can say i never ever really look because im having fun. Whereas in resistance 2I was constantly looking to see how many kills i had in the menu, mostly for that damn trophy. But the thing that saved resistance was the co op, i played the shit out of that!!! I beat resistance 2 twice, which says alot, i just recently beat killzone 2, and i really wanted to get a platinum but that last level was ridiculous, really bad game design. [/B]LOOOOVED the sp until the last part. They force you into a moving forward all the time design, never having to look behind, and the controls work for that style, then the end you have to be worrying about people behind you and you cant turn quick enough to get a shot off,[/B] just really really stupid. Both are high quality games, but i can sayy killzone 2s multiplayer will just keep me sooooo enertained. have had some really fun games with GAF!!

fps fanatic said:I'm at the same point. Not with getting platinum with the game, but trying to get that Elite difficulty trophy. Sad thing is, I've completed the whole game on Elite up until the point where I'm at now.
I get to the second balcony alright, but damn if I don't just overwhelmed. I always hold off until the second wave of soldiers start coming. I like the game. But playing it at this difficulty is making me hate it.
It's almost controller-snapping difficult. I'd have probably broken the controller already but since money's tight, that's a no-no.
I think I'll just take the loss and play it on trooper/veteran difficulties instead. Often when I like a game enough, I like trying out a higher difficulty for a bit more of a challenge. But this game right now on Elite makes my blood pressure rise, and I don't even have high blood pressure.
Cruzader said:It amazes me ppls have issues with the balcony part. That by far, is the easiest part out of the 3! First part where guys come jumping down from behind is the most difficult part.( In Elite btw)
fps fanatic said:Wait, jumping down from behind? I'm at the save point where Rico goes "Sev, the second floor balcony doors are open, get your ass to the second floor".
I then whip out the knife and take care of two Helghast on my way to the stairs. I then get to the second floor and run to the flamethrower guys and knife them. Rico then joins me upstairs. Then from where the flamethrower guys were, I basically try to stand my ground. Running from left to right, taking out the guys below.
Where I seem to be f'ing up is when some troops end up getting to the second floor and I try to knife them but get overwhelmed. I must be doing something wrong...
I thought we were beyond that already, but I spoiler tagged it just in case.TheFatOne said:You should spoiler tag that stuff just in case.

I find the SP more fun and entertaining than MP... in fact i think that i dont like MP V__VTheFatOne said:Yea you never know :lol BTW I haven't beaten the game yet :lol I am at Visari Square :lol
Edit: I don't really care about the story to be honest. I already know what happens and I have how to beat the last part on elite some where on my computer :lol
The SP offers nothing the MP doesn't. The encounters aren't very compelling and instead of doing things that could never be emulated in MP, it may as well be a collection of large, linear MP levels with Bot opponents.TheFatOne said:Yea you never know :lol BTW I haven't beaten the game yet :lol I am at Visari Square :lol

I'm a little bitter about not having immediate rights to the 5x zoom on the sniper scope though. Still: only 8 ribbons, right? Shouldn't take long.

For people who already have the M4 revolver, is a headshot a guaranteed kill? And how many shots in the body do they take before they're dead? Two?

I don't think anyone one game is worth purchasing a system for.ergo said:Sooooo I take it I was smart in not purchasing the PS3 for this game? Damn, I was looking forward to something good for the summer.

What makes you come to that conclusion?ergo said:Sooooo I take it I was smart in not purchasing the PS3 for this game? Damn, I was looking forward to something good for the summer.
No you weren't, the game's single player is amazing and while the MP is flawed, it is fun as hell.ergo said:Sooooo I take it I was smart in not purchasing the PS3 for this game? Damn, I was looking forward to something good for the summer.

Well it seems you guys are having issues with accepting the game for what it is. I just was looking for a good reason to get a PS3, but I'd still be interested if it was worth it. I think inFamous has potential but I'm more excited to see what exclusives E3 brings.TheFatOne said:And you come in the thread to post that? :lol

I wouldn't say COD4 plays like shit, it's just... different.Thrakier said:Yep, it realls is. It's IMPOSSIBLE to go back to COD4 after you are used to KZ2. COD4 looks and plays like shit in comparison. It's just...you have to get to the point where you are used to KZ2 first if you come from COD4.
