I verbally abuse him every chance i get.

Tbh, he was like this in the first game.

That's kinda the only thing I feel like they miss on when recapping the first game. He's still an asshole but over the journey you bond through strife, so at the start of 2 you're already sort of brothers but if you haven't played 1 he's just an annoying wimp that doesnt want to do any actual work

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
I keep getting fired from the vineyard, no matter how many weeds I pull or how many sacks I put on the sack spot.

Wtf? I joined at 15:00 and work ends at 18:00. Could it bugged and expecting me to do more work than what's actually doable?

In any case, I'm not doing this shit again. Fuck you Jerome, you called me a lazy sack of shit so in return I'll slit your throat while you are asleep.

Steal the items required for the quest and leave the vineyard.

My blacksmith brothers who aren't sure if they want to do the Mill quests before the wedding, I say do it!

There's
a fight club!

A handsome man let's you
purposely asphyxiate him over and over

And long and solid
chest you can practice lock picking on.

Agreeed. Definitely better than the blacksmith, it has more interesting quests which are also very useful for levelling some other skills you wouldn't use much otherwise during the first hours. I am about to go to the wedding after almost 40 hrs and I will stick to the miller. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen hehe

What’s the problem ? It would be the best 30-60 minutes of your week
But let's be honest... In 30 - 60 minutes you won't achieve much, specially in the beginning, unless you know exactly what to do and where to go, maybe. To me it clicked after about 10 hrs. Overall, it's a slow-paced game.

Finally reached the second map area of the game. Was crushing through the game before, but am struggling now. The random encounters are crushing me. Tough opponents.

Any options for me here other than really perfecting the combat system? Should I do the main quest for a while to get stronger? Do certain side quests? Can I keep going on swords alone or do I need to keep working at heavy weapons to fight armored dudes?

I did enough to make it to Kittenburg city, so do have access to there.

What helped me the most was developing my Agility and being able to dodge and attack soon afterwards. Learn those moves that cripple the enemy, the guy in the Nomad camp can teach you those. In general, learn as many moves as possible and then train with someone to perfect them. And, as someone said in another game, "Go for the head!"

Came across this article on what seems to be a nice mod (according to the comparisons). Makes the lighting less harsh with better GI. Anyone wants to try it?
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/kingdom-come-deliverance-2-mod-enhances-global-illumination/
I installed it a couple of days ago. The strong version looks great with HDR on, which on the other hand can be enabled by using this other mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/354

I also tried adding a third light bounce, but the performance hit is considerable even on a 4090.

Ain’t got much spare time to play right now, but every second goes into this game.

Lock picking and sneaking is my recent passion, so I spend my nights with my sleeping fellow neighbors, opening their doors and crates but hardly steeling anything.

Next stop is the nomad camp again, l remember lots of lockboxes there!
BTW, when I visited them last time, a couple of dogs approached me at their campfire. When I tried to pet the little rascals, they began mauling me.To make things worse, the nomads started berating me as soon as I draw my sword to defend myself.

I’m seriously contemplating to silently murder all of them bastards in due course :messenger_halo:

Finished it today. Gameplay was much better but don’t feel the story hit the same highs as the first game. First game did a much better job with character development where as i found myself not as attached to the supporting cast in this game.

Hmmmm so I'm at the "When the bells toll" quest and the first time im not enjoying the game. I'm at the part where you sneek about but evey time a guard sees me i can just tell the same joke, even to the same guard multiple times to get out of trouble. After they let me off i just get instantly spotted again and have to tell the same joke. Sometimes my path is blocked and i can't to anything to get the guard to shift other than be spotted, tell the same joke..............

Obviously im playing it wrong but it's done really poorly imo.

Anyone have any tips for stealing the guild sword in Kuttenberg? I haven't done much lockpicking at all so I got no way into their guild hall during the night to steal the thing. Can it be done during the day?

Damn man leave some bitches for the rest of us, you made your Henry too charming! Also yeah brute forcing this part will ruin it for you, some people don't like it regardless but I LOVED this part

Yes
the neighboring tavern(?) Has some stuff in their backyard so you can jump the wall into their closed off area. I assume during the day the actual building is unlocked

I dunno what to say, it probably depends on how we faced the situation cause to me that is the quest that cemented this game as goty, it reminded me of the monastery quest in KCD1.

Also... I think I never got caught sneaking around on the while game, didn't do it much to be honest.

Oh yeah its a special game and im thoughly enjoying myself. Just this particular quest isnt going well for me. Im having a little break from the game but i may reload an older save and give it another crack when i do get back to it.

Yeah it's like dark souls in the sense that once you get frustrated it's better to take a break and come back later haha

I split kcd 2 with avowed, and now splitting kcd 1 with MH Wilds. A little action between my immersive bouts

Can someone offer any tips for lockpick on console?

I am absolutely loving this game and I read that when you can upgrade lockpick skill it gets better but jfc... I literally feel like I need to pay for boosting to open one lockpick, this is horrendous.

You can practice at the millers down in the south west of the map. You just need to get your skill up

To be honest, I think this is working as intended on lower levels. You are supposed to be trash at it, and only repeated failures and successes will make it easier over time. I suggest buying out all of the Miller's lockpicks, and becoming the biggest kleptomaniac in Bohemia.

Finished the game today. The last few hours were absolute cinema. Amazing game. Gonna go back for the DLCs for sure. It was one hell of a journey for over a month

How did
your ghost parents react, were you a good Henry?

After all the DLC's release I'm tempted to do a full playthrough again just to change that one part haha

At first my father said i was just like Istvan, but the game bugged out during the credits so i restarted it and did the other choice. Its not really a different ending. The other ending was based on a decision earlier when you either save your brother or not

wait whaat, I thought your parents reaction was based off how much thievery and murder you committed. Also didn't know there's actual different endings too, gets me more excited for the next playthrough!

While fast-travelling I was stopped by a holy drifter. He gave me a riddle, I answered correctly, he rewarded me with 150 Groschen, great! Thing is I really liked the unique hat he had on so as we parted ways I turned around and killed him, dumped the body in the bushes and put on my stylish new headwear, good times!

Somehow people in 6 towns over will know this and when you walk into towns be hunted down like the dog you are!

Man, that bow of Ranyek was totally worth digging in the shit for. I had to punch out the three dicers, but it was worth it.

In that building behind the trees, there is a group of deserters, very well equipped. I took them down in an honest 1v6 fight, but it took some doing. Super satisfying.

Hmmmm so I'm at the "When the bells toll" quest

I talked to Ulrich, offered to solve his health issues and he gave me free reign around the castle. No sneaking necessary. It was super fun quest. I suppose it does require some decent stats to convince him though.

Couple questions, what are some must have skills you guys like and is there particular food for mutt that keeps his obedience up longer? I love mutt but I do feel like his obedience drops too quickly
