Finally facing first roadblock in my KH2 critical run, Roxas. I don't have time to learn his attacks, when they kill me in 1-3 hits . I've only beaten him once on my proud run back in 2014.
Some thoughts on the BBS post game. I would like to have words with whoever decided that putting bosses behind a shitty kart racer and shitty board game wall was a good fucking idea.
Also, you finish this game at a pretty low level which means it's a pretty long grind to get to a good enough level to fight some of the bosses, and that shit gets old quick.
The boss design of this game seems so much worse then KH2. KH2 had difficult bosses, but the designs were smart and the mechanics never felt like bullshit, and overcoming them was rewarding. BBS on the other hand feels difficult just for the sake of it. Bosses just break out of your combos whenever they feel like it, and you can't really stagger them at all.

Outside of the irritating command-freezing attack it's probably my favorite Xemnas fight. He's much much more aggressive with his lasers, and the beam orb attack is cool too.well shit! I didn't know sith lord akawas in KHFM!Xemnas
The final bosses were great though. It was great to simply fight people not huge freaking monsters or whatever Xenmas and Ansem turned it.Yeah, BBS bosses are pretty bad. It's why I will never replay it.
I'd say No Heart is pretty much the best designed boss in BBSFM that doesn't feel cheap nor did I have to rely a lot on surges, mines, and even excessive dodge rolls. Just the road to get to him is bleh.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (PS4) Data Vexen No Damage (Deadly Restrictions)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNqyQD0HI7k
Wow, just wow. This player is so good
Mastering data Vexen must take at least 500 deaths lol
I'll give you Vanitas. Xehanort/Terra wasn't great.
So... What is the deal with Vexen's fight? I beat his absent silhouette yesterday first try, but didn't grasp the concept of the data capturing, or whatever it was...
It just powers up the Shadow Sora he summons on you. It's a tough bastard when it's at full strength.
With the latest patch? :/Well all my save files got smoked.
Back to KH1 it is...
So I think I did the optional bosses in the wrong order in BBS. Ended up beating Mysterious Figure and the Lingering Spirit before doing Villains Vendetta and Masters Armor. These just seem like a breeze now that every attack doesn't take me to 1 HP. I heard No Heart was pretty hard though.
it has my favourite combat in the series but only because aqua has ridiculous i-frames on her roll and her block is amazingHate to admit it but I cheaped out on the Lingering Will.
I'm kind of ready to move on to BBS and didn't feel like learning a strategy. Maybe one I'll come back and fight him for real. Also beat my first data battle, Marluxia.
I'll probably come back and finish those as well.
To be honest I'm not even sure if I want to play BBS on critical.

You should feel bad about this
Game has some of the most obnoxious bosses in thes eries and I imagine they are tedious on critical.
Would r recommend proud or normal.
I found No Heart a thousand times easier than Mysterious Figure with Terra.

I need Zack to show back up so he can get that date.
There's a lot of reunions waiting for the BBS that I need to see. Since Olympus is back in KH3, hopefully we can have them see Herc, Phil, and Zack again.
I just want Phil to call Sora a true hero damnit. THAT'S ALL I WANT.
Yeah, the Mirage Arena really sucks. It's *still* somehow better than the Underdrome, though.
Only truly good arena mode ever was the KH1 Coliseum.
Fairly easy, how exactly? Because Critical kh2 was a pain with a lot of bosses, plus lingering will/data battles are wayyy harder than I prefer. Are the optional bosses in bbs about the same?Definitely don't play on normal, cause unlocking the secret episode is a pain on that (and secret episode is worth it just to hear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EqqWhJpz_8).
Honestly, critical is fairly easy in BBS though, so you might as well do that.

That should be enough IIRC. Are you using Stitch?
I just feel like I'm taking too much damage, I got grabbed by 2 Dancers and got killed. I probably need Second Chance.
DNAbro is so lucky to fight the data bosses for the first time.
He is in for a treat.
I'm super excited.
Decided to grind up to until second chance (at level 85) so I could get past that last part easier, decided to try and fight Axel real quick and proceeded to get destroyed real quick. I'm always impressed by people who can do the Critical Level 1 no hit fight.

axel is super weak to blizzard so equip the keyblade you got from atlantica and add some blizzards into the fight, a good idea with be doing a blizzard finisher instead of one with your keyblade
