Ok, I just got the CE of the DVD of knocked up. I watched knocked up in the theatres and really enjoyed it and had planned on getting it on DVD. I have to say though, the Bonus features in this movie are probably the BEST bang for my buck on bonus features I have ever gotton, and I have alot of CE of DVDs.
first of all, there are TONS of great deleted takes/scenes/bonus foootage and all of it for the most part are funny as hell. some of the stuff that was deleted are so funny I don't know why they would take it out being that its funnier than some stuff in the movie. IE. Dr Kuni's rant which was on youtube before knocked up came out.
Also, another thing that had me almost in tears with laughter is the whole "Finding Ben Stone" feature. Honestly...it's what brought me to post about knocked up. It is probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life. Of course you would have to watch knocked up first to truly appreciate it, but i'd imagine it would be moderately funny if you haven't. but Wow, I was almost in tears. Apatow is a fucking genius. The "Finding Ben stone" feature is actually funnier than the movie knocked up itself imo. I hope they do some more creative/funny stuff like this for the bonus features in Superbad. I don't know....being high while watching the "Finding Ben Stone" feature might have made it more funnier than it is...but shit, I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time.
