I disagree. At least half the trailer definitely looked bad. Let's calmly stand around, barely moving, whilst shooting some also barely moving zombies on the other side of the fence. So much tension...
The other half of the trailer was fine, so I would say it looked half bad.

This is the stupidest fucking thing I've seen in a long time. I don't even know where to begin. The idea of a wormhole opening up and transporting these soldiers to an alternate universe is over the top, even for a fucking Metal Gear game.
This just screams of Konami wanting to make a zombie shooter and slapping the Metal Gear name on it so it wouldn't be ignored.

This looks like it has nothing to do with Metal Gear but they put that name in anyway for sales. It's kinda sad because it looks like they are gonna drive this franchise into the ground, but hey the IP belongs to them and they can do whatever they want.

I don't get how zombies can lead to stealth gameplay. I mean the action gameplay was excellent in V but c'mon, I wanted coop for the synchronised headshots, not fucking shootbangs 4 zombies all over again

I do find it funny that when tasked with coming up with replicating Kojima weirdness, Konami not only went with the weirdest, Easter Egg, jokey, bonus, noncanon, and unlockable style of Metal Gear over the top as the main premise, but they actually still made it boring with zombies.

It's hard to be excited for it, honestly. When Kojima and Konami went their separate ways, I thought it nearly impossible for me not to find a game made with the tools left in place to not be engaging, but my tune quickly changed after playing MGO3. Plenty of non-Kojima Metal Gears have been released, all fine games in their own right, some of which I'm as much a fan of as anything Kojima himself has created. I won't say that this one doesn't have a chance to be just as great, but it's hard for me to be optimistic given my lack of interest in FOB, MGO3, and the direction they've been taken in since September of last year.
