Has any reviews been out for this game? the hype seems to be really low
I'm really curious about how Feargus Urquhart, Chris Avallone & co. did with the franchise.

am i the only one really not feeling the character designs in this one? they definitely dont come across as star wars characters to me, something bioware did excellently in the first kotor

I got a bad feeling that it'll be more of the same... I've watched a lot of the developer vids available online and when they "tried" to explain new elements, they, well, didn't. I think in order for this game to reach the level that it did in its first installment, it will need to show ENOUGH newer elements to impress us into thinking that this is not just a newer game... but a better one as well.

Of course.. the new story will help as well.

I do want this game to be good though. I really enjoyed the first (as did many others, haha).

i dunno, it think for the first time, story it just as important as gameplay. Its all about execution, KOTOR unfolded brilliantly, just hope Obsidian are as masterful as BioWare in that respect

I am not as excited as the first KOTOR wich is natural. But I believe it will still be a solid game.

Nope just watched the developer vids (which left these doubts in my mind). I've been staying away from impressions as of late... I need to stop doing this.

I've seen vids with

a Sith, Dark Jedi being a main character in your party.

I'm sure we'll see at least 2 other saber wielding characters in the game (and this is w/o me reading any of those impressions yet )

It won't get as high in review scores as KoTOR because there isn't really that much of a technical jump between the two. I however think the story will be better this time around. The folks at Black Isle seemed to do a better job of creating a complex storyline than BioWare.
