Yeah....he relies a lot on his passive to dish out damage, which needs stacks. But he doesn't seem to understand this at all, and hasn't once done a proper combo.

Gate and Apollo were both pretty awful, but it's not like they've ever really been the stars of this show. I guess it shouldn't be that surprising.

I feel like the Vel'Koz could have worked, but it seems like a pocket pick Gate has been trying to hide, and is badly out of practice on as a result. There was a lot of play there that was just not mechanically sound. Apollo, meanwhile, just couldn't keep himself out of trouble; you've got a Vel'Koz/Lulu/Janna, mate, not a Maokai/Alistar/Diana. You can't put your face that close to the enemy.
