Not really. I just didn't feel like writing out champion names so I just said "the others blah blah blah". Toning down Amumu compared to the other three is pretty simple. The kit has a bit too much power relative to how easy it is to land everything, particularly his ult.
Doing something like removing the AA stop on his ult and replace with a strong attack speed reduction for the duration would go a long way. Early jungle is a bit too safe considering how easily he hits his stride.
i feel like amumu's problem is that his w and e are kind of the exact same spell. like dps pbaoe, they function the almost the same, i think mumu in fights just turns on tears and mashes e
i think he could use an actually cool spell to allow him to do more cool stuff
the ult thing being a weird anti-aa root could be cleaned up too but he prolly needs a damage nerf
If I'm being honest with you I'm not 100% convinced Rammus/Warwick/Fiddlesticks full reworks are absolutely necessary. I'm more interested in seeing those champions being more enjoyable to play (e.g. proposed Warwick rework). I think doing things like reevaluating Cleanse, QSS and its upgrade line, and minor changes to champ abilities (e.g. Fiddle only silences the first target hit) would go a long way.
i think ww needs a full blown rework at least. fiddle could use a mini rework as he's just obnoxious to play against. rammus i don't really know much about but i feel like his ult should prolly be a little less dot and maybe just like a three cast thing like ahri's ult that he can slam the ground and you can dodge it and all that. tho he prolly needs the dot to be relevant in teamfights since they nerfed his taunt. i prolly should't talk too much about rammus since he's not the type of champions i like to think about
i dunno, they all deserve to be looked at in regards to how uneven their kits are and where their power's located and how it's presented. i what they all have in common is frustratingly strong targeted hard cc so i'd say that's one thing to look if you're trying to reduce their annoying-ness. but also i feel like they're all (maybe not fiddle but surely ww, amumu and rammus) unexpectedly strong in how much damage they deal compared to how tanky they get and how strong and foolproof their cc is. and i mean unexpectedly not in the low elo way but like in character archetype way.
No, haven't played him yet in an actual game. I've seen way too many bugs in my customs to bother with him just yet (and having no time to invest in a pretty difficult champ doesn't help). It reminds of Janna ult personally, with the exception that Azir players are more likely to fuck it up because they see it as another damage spell in the rotation whereas a Janna, as a support, gets to take things in during the fight and use it properly...in theory.
it's literally the same as s3 mid grago, took ppl some time to figure out how to use his ult to deal damage without fucking everything up
you gotta give the guy some time
also i find the flay thing is specially important since like grago's ult if you use it like an inverse flay (as in, aim in the direction you want to shove ppl to) you can do the damage but also isolate ppl some more.
it's just that players aren't used to it cos he's so fucking complicated and you're struggling with half a dozen bugs to even be able to concentrate in doing that shit right lol
I imagine one thing that will distinguish "the good Azir's from the great Azir's" is proper ult usage. Things like pushing the back line away against a dive comp. etc. Everyone seem hot to pull an Insec with the knock-back but that's really a marginal use of the ability.
What I keep seeing over an over again is W->Q->E->Ult, except the Azir's tend to forget that the knock-up on E occurs at the first target hit, which I generally the tank, so he ends up pushing the entire enemy team away, which might be good, might be bad, but generally not intentional.
yea like i said in my previous post i think the greatest azir ults are usually the less flashy. just create some distance between your backline and their divers and that's prolly the best use you'll find.
i did the insec thing a couple times but i find it's just too dangerous unless you're making a pick or something
tho insec'ing someone into a turret i created was badass, i wish i hadn't accidentally deleted all my replays lol
nice, gonna add some to my list
