League of Legends: Season 4 World Championship (Sep 17 - Oct 19)

Galio? So Maokai ult would be pretty effective against Galios?
On another note, destined rivalry in the jungle.
Mage tanks in the top.
Lane bullies in bot.

Kind of disappointed in the mid lane matchup. Tear bros?

edit: What a bloodbath at the early dragon.

Jayce HAS to be banned for the 3rd game...

Any idea if the "event" between Khazix and Regnar happened already? Like who killed the other first?

Damn.

So korea taking it? Dont follow lol at all

Most likely. The final will be between a Korean and Chinese team like last year.

It's Korea (Samsung Blue) vs Korea (Samsung White) in the first semi-final, and China (Royal Club) vs. China (OMG) in the other. One Korean team, Samsung White, is stomping the other and will be a huge favourite to win the final against whichever Chinese team wins. Last year a different Korean team, who didn't qualify this year (SKT-T1 K) won against Royal Club. The year before, Season 2, was won by a Taiwanese team.

NA teams performed strongly this year, but are still clearly below the best Korean teams. EU teams had their worst Worlds ever, having won season 1 and made semi-finals in seasons 2 and 3, but are still close to the NA teams.

Krepo and Crumbz (especially crumbzz) as analyst are fantastic, doublelift is meh and everytime montecristo is on screen I want to throw the mouse at the screen!

I'm not sure whether White is a lot better than Blue or White winning was planned.

Idk, if that was true, I would assume White players not aware of it and maybe the rest of the team (coachers, organizers) agree on sharing information/strategy with Blue. After all, White players look pretty destroyed. But tbh, that could easily bite back to Samsung.

Idk, /tinfoil hat

No, I think we can be quite sure Samsung Blue did not agree to be absolutely humiliated in the biggest match of their careers to date, which will probably result in them being forced to move organisation.

So does this mean TSM > SSB?

Clearly.

SSB got stomped harder than Dark Passage in this series, it's looking like a snowballed solo queue game.

Agreed. It would have at least looked even in the case of a planned game. This is indeed extremely humiliating.

Who are you guys cheering for, tomorrow, OMG or SHR? I'm particularly invested in SHR but mostly because Insec but idk much about OMG even though I did watch their previous games but I don't remember much.
