Leaked Trailer shows that Stellar Blade Comes to PC June 11, 2025

Sold over 2 million copies as of February which is very good for a game with this budget. But the devs are on crack if they think it's going to do better on PC. It could have if it was a launch title when the max hype and news was still at full power but not now as a late launch over a year later.

It'll be lucky to get 30k to 40k CCU but that would be a good number for a late launch with its budget.

But at least the devs already said it sold very well and are working on a sequel.

Top 3 best game of 2024 with Space Marine 2 and FFVII Rebirth.

Cool. I will clear my gaming schedule for this and play it as soon as I can. If they have some sort of pre-order bonus, I may do that. Seems it may run on Steam Deck. That is great news.

I think it will do really well on PC. Maybe even better than PS5 numbers.

When they initially made the statement about hoping for even better numbers on PC the console version had only crossed a million sales after a few months.

I think part of what they're banking on is how much more popular PC gaming is in South Korea combined with a crossover event in their money printing mobile game Nikke. They also said they've looked at other similar releases (console/timed exclusives) and are trying to avoid the same mistakes that dragged them down like poor optimization and features.

I certainly have my doubts about it doing better numbers with a late port but I'd be very happy to see them pull it off.

IIRC the game sold 1 million. Shift Up didn't update the sales yet.

Yeah I don't see it doing that well this late in the day. The hype has died off. Will sell for a long time though, but upfront sales will likely be lowish.

Can't see them getting even a million copies sold on Steam, a few hundred thousand at most. But that'll still more than cover how much they needed to port it over so would be a profit at the end still just most likely won't be as big as the devs think.

I still hope they spend more budget and make part 2 even bigger and do a PC on launch day with full momentum. Stellar Blade ended did really well with what they set up in the ending.

Can't wait to mod the game and replace the character with a non-binary mixed race blue tinted hair human being.

Sounds like contradiction here.

Don't see it doing well this late but will still sell for a 'long' time? If hype died down then it wouldn't?

I'm confused, help me understand here lol.

People are interested not hyped. Hype drives day one fomo type sales, interest means people will buy it when there is a lull or when there is a sale.

I think it'll sell well on Steam, but I have serious doubts it'll surpass PS5's 2 million.

But that's fine. Over 2 million in sales in less than a year since it's release is pretty damn good for this game.

Yeah the hype is mostly gone. But it'll still do well if it's a good port, it's a good game. And through costumes and mods. And DF will make it hard for people to forget about it from PSSR vs DLSS comparisons. There will definitely be some talk about it.

Hopefully they go day 1 everywhere for the sequel. Timed exclusivity is the worst. I don't like double dipping, don't like doing the first playthrough on an inferior platform, don't like waiting. I lose however I do it.

I was going to buy it on ps5 pro but I'm in Europe for the next week and then it's computex so I'm far too busy in may. So, PC it is.

I'm expecting BIG things

Double dipping for sure. Looks like they added more than just a trivial amount of stuff. I saw a video of the devs playing it on Steam Deck the other day too, so that's a good sign.

It's Unreal Engine, right? It'll be interesting to see how it is on PC, can be awful or awesome. The PlayStation version is great, one of the more stable games for sure regarding visuals and fluidity, at least as far as I've played. I'll be there to verify the results on a PC as powerful as they come, if I see stutter I'll be pissed.

Some shots from my first playthrough. The OG costumes are so good but hey keep adding more!
Some ps5 pro shots on the bottom too. Looks so much better with PSSR. All hair dithering/shimmering is gone.

Even though my shots are mostly horny (I have like 500), I still recommend keeping the Theme fitting costumes for main quest!

Character designer: "So how fan-service-y do you want me to go here?"
Director: "I want you to make 2B look frumpy."

Apparently it's UE 4.26

My 2024 game of the year. The best looking Ps5 game for me. I just hope before the sequel , they will add a DLC expansion for side story especially of the other characters like for example
Tachy and Raven or even Adam.

Any chance the PS5 version gets the new content? Don't really wanna buy the game again, but will definitely consider it if the new content remains PC exclusive…

so how severe will the shader stutters be?

first big scale title from a dev using Unreal Engine on PC... what could go wrong?

It's very likely PS5 is getting all the content. The pre-order outfits could very well be added free later on for console users or as items you can purchase.

It would be very out of character for these developers to not do so.

She's practically nude in some of her costumes anyway. Modders gonna put her fanny (UK) in? Like why?

Play the fucking game instead of pausing it and looking at a digital vagina ffs.

If there's shader pre-compilation at the beginning, no biggie.

If there isn't one, also no biggie for me. As I dual boot between Windows and Linux.

Games on Linux download pre-compilated shaders from Valve servers if bought on Steam. The ones the use on Steam Deck and use them on PC no problem.

I haven't have that much stutters on Linux if any since switching.
