So are we really 8 episodes through this season and we still have no idea why the group wants Korra? I figured we would have learn at least that much by now.

Time to watch episode 9.......

Next week. My guide originally had the next episode scheduled for 8:30 and mentioned something about Korea discovering the truth.

But then this happened.

EDIT: Beaten

Lol, Korea. Thanks auto correct.

From what I've seen this season has been a real return to form for LoK, pretty much back to Avatar levels, and now's the time Nick decides to shit on it? What terrible timing.

So nick.com is the only place to watch the remaining episodes? You'd think Amazon Instant Video would be included too, since they have other Nick shows on the service.

For those still confused Korra will be released online now weekly starting August 1st

After this Friday’s on-air premiere of Episode 8 “The Terror Within” at 8/7c, all remaining Book 3 episodes will move to a digital rollout. That means two things: 1) Korra is NOT cancelled, 2) the remaining episodes will roll out weekly on Nick.com and the Nick app beginning August 1, as well as on platforms like Amazon, Google Play, Xbox and Hulu.

I suppose it would be interesting if Korra could get a bit bolder now that they don't have to worry about the constraints of television but I doubt that will happen.

so are they going to stream them on the nick site? or just upload the full episode?

Yeah, but I'm confused. As of now you can go watch full episodes on Nick.com for free now. But if you go to Amazon and try to watch episodes from this season, you have to pay for them. Prime isn't included?

Will Nick.com start charging to watch this show?

If they do what they did with Book 2 they'll most likely upload the full episode

so why is this happening?? bad ratings?

Yeah pretty bad ratings barely got more than 1.5 million viewers this season
But Nick is completely at fault for this due to the timeslot and almost non existent advertising from Nick

I honestly didn't even know book 3 was airing until last weekend when I was visiting family. I still don't even know what time it airs. Yeah Nick messed up...

That might have been my favorite episode of Korra yet. That courtyard battle was everything I've ever wanted. Some WW2 guerilla warzone bending shit.

Goddammit Nick.

also stfu mako dont tell korra what to do you fucking piece of shit kill yourself

Um... ok, but he was doing good this episode, he was the only person (aside from Varrick) that caught on what Aiwei was trying to do.
Meh I guess I'll never understand the Mako hate, I mean he's not a good character but he's far from being the worst and they have been improving with him a little bit since book 1.

Anyway, too bad this will be online only from now on, but at least we'll be able to watch the remaining episodes and there will still be a book 4 apparently.

There is one thing about that quote that has me curious. As of now, Nick.com, Amazon, and Google Play only have up to episode 5 currently. Hulu only has up to episode 3.. Does that mean we'll have to wait til they catch up to the episodes that have aired, or come August 1, will they add the already aired episodes as well as episode 9? Was that ever clarified? If so, I apologize for asking such a redundant question.

That said, loved today's episode. Wish they would have stuck with two episodes this week and just started the digital only thing with episode 10.

People hate Mako because of his behavior with Asami and Korra. It was just annoying. We wasted 2 seasons on a dead-end romance.

does anybody else feel like suyin is part of this too

i didnt before but something is wrong to me now

Yep. I said Su was the double agent before Aiwei made it super obvious.

It certainly plays well into the theme of Korra trusting the worst person possible. That's kind of why I don't want Su to be in on it, since it retreads so much ground. Super nice character has a double agent parent and has to turn against them. Bad guy offers Korra guidance and advice in order to destroy her. Korra just being super wrong in general.
