Overloading a site won't take it down for 24 hours. My guess is they lost an important piece of equipment or encountered a corruption issue and had to rebuild something. Probably just coincidence.

what? yes it can, it really depends but small sites with not adaptable infrastructures can get down for 24 hours if the traffic starts rising. The company I worked for had that exact same problem, maybe the guys at IT were completely incompetent but I doubt it, I mean, what would you do if suddenly your number of visitors rises and doesn't go down? you either optimize, or buy more servers, but both of those can take time.

I get my Brian Safi fix with Pop Piñata, unfortunately isn't as funny and the editing can be annoying, but well, is better than nothing. I would really like a That's Gay for current gay issues.
