I'm pretty sure I've heard on Podcast Beyond from yesterday's episode that it does. They had the vr box and they were reading the content and they mentioned cleaning cloth.Maybe it does!
Hope you get to experience that then.
I have friends over for board game, d&d and party video games (Jackbox party packs are popular, Wii U party used to be too.)
I don't know what file format VR porn is in on the PC, but if PS4 supports that format it should work if you put the video file on a thumb drive and connect it to the PS4, regardless of if they sell porn on PSN (they won't) or if they block streaming porn on the web browser (I have no idea).Anyway, my question is silly but sincere- will VR porn be available on this thing?

So basically, I know nothing about this, but I'm curious too. lol
I've heard VR porn is crazy, but I don't know if it's in a good way or a bad way.

Now I'm just missing Rez and I'll be all set for October 13th.
I have a source deep within Sony who I'm not at liberty to name, that has told me in confidence there are actually negative preorders for PSVR now.
This may have been covered before, but in the OP Eve:Valkyrie is listed as an experience priced, but it's $60 on amazon.. Is amazon just putting that there as a placeholder? Is it cheaper digitally? I don't see a digital preorder price on psn yet.
Preorders can be transferred with some gaf-trust.
I don't understand what negative preorders means.I have a source deep within Sony who I'm not at liberty to name, that has told me in confidence there are actually negative preorders for PSVR now.
That Sony is actually paying people to take PSVR headsets off of them.I don't understand what negative preorders means.
Is there a must have title for launch. I have a PSVR and PS4 Pro on preorder and I'm close to canceling the VR. Help?
I've cancelled mine also.
Over £400 for something that plays what appears to be demos is just to expensive.
Personally I think the only place where VR will take off is using the mobile headsets if it stands a chance but I now think the whole thing will just fade away.
I might keep my preorder and pass it on to a gaffer rather than cancel
I'll hook you up. I have a regular and the "extreme" edition on amazonYeah, let me know. My local GameStop isn't giving me much confidence with extra units at launch. Also, apologies for my original post. Samsung's auto correct butchered the shit out of my words.
Kind of disheartening to hear of so many cancelled preoders.

Bound
Battlezone
DriveClub VR
EVE: Valkyrie
Fated: The Silent Oath
Headmaster
Here They Lie
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
Moto Racer 4
Rez Infinite
RIGS
Robinson: The Journey
SUPERHYPERCUBE
Tethered
Thumper
Trackmania Turbo
Wayward Sky
There are many more in 2017 they are all different genres so they may not suit your taste but don't call them demos just because you don't like them.
I was just making a silly joke about how everyone seems to be cancelling their preorders.Any boxing games coming to PSVR? That sounds like it could be fun
What does that mean exactly? That they don't have enough supply to meet all preorders?
Exactly.I think that means that we'll need to start making our own PSVRs out of old phone screens, prescription lenses and sticky tape so that we can mail them to Sony on launch day, right?
PSVR will be killed 5 months after release. It's just move and vita all over again.
Wasn't there supposed to be an unboxing today? did that not happen yet?
I just don't get the "demos" talk. Honestly this looks like one of the best lineups any hardware as had at launch. Minus perhaps one truly AAA title a hero title like Halo, but this is still VR's early days. There's a ton of what I'd consider AA tier content. Then again time trialling a Pagani Zonda around Chile was insanely fun and addictive in Driveclub, doing it while being in the car and having everything lifelike, to scale, and all around me, in 3D.. woah jesus, that's dream fulfilling craziness right there.
To me it looks like there's more stuff than I can even afford to buy at launch, but I'll be splashing out on the stuff I really like the look of. That newly announced Sports Bar VR game looks incredible. I have a real life friend from uni who I've not met since, and he's getting PSVR, and we could legitimately hang out in that game, muck about, play silly games and have a chat as if we're in the same room together. That stuff is mind-blowing to me.
Rez and we'll finally be playing the game as it was originally conceived to be played, in VR.
Rigs could be a Rocket League style addictive MP game you could get sucked into for long sessions.
Resident Evil 7 on the horizon, play the entire thing in PSVR. Ambitious, and needs work on the controls according to hands on impressions, but still impressing people, and would absolutely be the most immersive and pant-shitting way to play.
I've not played Bound yet, I can't wait to play it in VR.
Thumper... THUMPER! Shit seems transcendental...

There's tons of stuff at launch, more stuff lined up in the coming months and developers enthused by the new medium. There's definitely going to be a future here, I just can't see it not being the case.

There's a big list of launch of games in the OP of this thread. Several of them could be must have depending upon what type of game you want.
DriveClub, Robinson, Batman, Rez, EVE, Rigs, Battlezone, SuperHyperCube, etc.
Oh, wow at the way the processing unit slides apart to reveal the jack inputs. Weird, but cool. Wonder why they did that?! (About 1:15 in)
I never understood why EVE gets put in the same list as games like DriveClub or RIGS.
Now to be fair, the games aren't out yet, but they already look to be a lot more fun than EVE ever will be. I had a good time with the game in my first 15 minutes. By the hour mark, I didn't want to touch it again.
There's reasons why the critic and user score are low.
That Sony is actually paying people to take PSVR headsets off of them.
It's not like I put them in any order, I agree that given what we know it seems a little thin on content compared to the others (besides Batman which we know is short) which are the real big games, but it's still a space dog-fighting game, not a "demo," and relatively popular and there are plenty of people that want something like that kind of space game for their early VR game. I was just giving a short-list of bigger titles that people seem to want day 1 of multiple types as their must-haves.
Alternatively, I wonder if you can plug PSVR into a Windows PC?
I cancelled my pre-order last week, mainly because I won't buy it without being able to try it in person and nothing anywhere close materialised to try it in the UK.
My second, more widely-held concern, is the lack of proper previews for the launch games. We usually get a big blowout across all major sites, with tech analysis articles and extended plays; the latter being super-important to show the depth of the full-priced games.
Even with RIGs we have not seen enough coverage imo, not compared to other full-priced first party titles just two weeks before release.
If Sony doesn't want to get the hype machine going I thought it'd be best if I let someone else have my pre-order....I can jump in later if my concerns are allayed.
This is the exact thing people on the fence should NOT pre-order; it's a recipe for remorse.
Man the processor unit looks bigger than I expected... that's not going to be fun wiring up a Pro and the processor unit and have it look nice on the shelf....
So HDMI goes from the processing unit to the TV? That's going to look messy no matter how big or small the unit is.
But the head set also has to connect to the box, so I don't know how you could hide it somewhere. Has there been any mention of how long the cables on the headset are?Nah, I think that's the easier part. If the unit was small enough it could just live behind the PS4 but I'm not so sure now if that's going to work for me given how big it looks now.

I thought one of the features for the Pro was that you won't need the processor unit, that it will have that built in. Is that no longer the case?
