We'll see where this goes! I'm trying to take it easy.

Also he doesn't like chocolate or sweets (WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM????)

I understand your concern about the age - job things, and giving advice is so much easier than to act upon them, but just go with it. Don't let a thing like this be a deal breaker atm, since you have no idea where it's gonna go. Just enjoy the present :)

BTW, I have to say the hand shake left me wondering. I have been to a very few dates (few
= 3), and all of them ended in a making out session. Nothing too serious, just some kissing for like 10-15 minutes before going our seperate ways.

As for food, I'll just copy-paste my shame post from the Beach Body thread.
We had pancakes with myple syrup for breakfest
a 250g beef \ veal burger with bacon and french fries
a sandwich with... whatever late night
4 slices of pizza with pepperoni for lunch today, followed by some Ben & Jerrys.

That was because I was staying a friend's place for the last 2 nights.
Yesterday I went to my very first gay parade. It was quite nice, not something amazing. Quite hot and crowded, and tooooons of amazing looking guys. It was simply crazy. So many tourists as well.

We've been in touch. The next day (yesterday) I woke up to a "have a nice day" text from him ♥. We kept talking through the day, he had told me had plans for last night when we met.

Today I woke up again to a couple of texts him (Hiiiiiii!, good morning). So we chatted a bit, I asked if he had plans and he said no and that he wanted to eat fish for lunch. He asked me if I wanted to so I said yes but it fell through :( he had some technicians over at his house to fix some stuff. He said we could go tomorrow. Not sure if we're doing anything at all today. He seems very sweet :)

I don't really have that much experience with dates either but I haven't kissed on any first/second dates (I've had 4/5 now). I think with this guy it's just that I don't really know him at all. I can be sort of a prude sometimes. I guess even though I'd enjoy making out with him I just feel like I want to know him better.

I'm ashamed about the food part. I'm supposed to be on a diet and that's my first major slip in two months. But it was glorious :p

If you're talking about the parade, while it was mesmerizing, it's a weird situation where you just watch and don't do anything else, so it's a bit of a tease. Well, more than a tease heh... I just read on the news that this year's parade was the largest ever with thousands of people. I guess that's good!

Forgot to add in regards to Victor - the thing I take from what you wrote, and it's a thing I love about people in general, is that it seems he doesn't play games. He texted you and suggested to meet, and didn't wait a set amount of time, or for you to do it. I like that :)

Tel-Aviv parade? I'd love to see the middle east one day, maybe drive through it (and fill up in Iran :p ) and enjoy the scenery. Looked stunning in Top Gear's special and the countries amaze me in different ways.

I do enjoy being underweight while eating (devouring) pancakes with maple syrup, but maybe I could get your teeth. Can't possibly be worse than mine getting holes all the time.

Well, I did say I've been to overall only 3 dates, so it's not that amazing IMO.
And yes, in Tel Aviv. Such an awesome place. It's a shame it's crazy expensive, but after I finishe my BA I plan on moving there for at least a year with that friend I was staying at the last couple of days.

I can't comment too much about the Middle East since I only know Israel (Although I heard great things about Jordan and Egypt). I may be biased, but talking purely about sights and stuff like that, it's really nice, espeicaly due to the variety. You have a desert in the south, nice forests and mountains at the north and the sea in the west all along the country, which is roughly 600km long.

My teeth are... OK I guess. Nothing to write home about :p

As a child following eurovision it looked like such a tiny country, but it does seem pretty big when you look at the variety. We really have a smaller country it's the distances between stuff are just so big :p

3 dates is better than 0, but don't take it wrong. It was more a "that sounds awesome" (making out) than a "my life sucks";)
Right now I'm just focusing on getting to know more people and see where that leads me. My brother envied me not having to deal with girls. I understand very well why, it still sucks trying to find out if your crush really is straight while hiding your feelings :/

My teeth are probably what I hate the most though. They're not bad looking I guess and straight, but ever since I've been a child I've only twice walked from a yearly checkup without holes and once I had eight TEETH with holes. Some had more than one :/

I don't have a backlog lol. I just change between Metroid Prime Trilogy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Pikmin 2 (Oh wait, that is the only game I have on my backlog) and Mario Kart 7. I have almost left my 3DS with nothing to play :/ At least I'm rediscovering my games and enjoying their awesome gameplay. Thankfully I have a huge book backlog this summer or I would be bored to death.
Also went to buy some clothes today and OMG, I could buy less sized clothes than I used to. It felt superdupingstupidfuckingfrickingly amazing! I'm proud of myself, still have to go down nore but so far it has been great. I can smell the end coming in a few months, then I'll decide what to do next with my body :')

I'm sure you can find it at a library, though I'm not sure how that works in Mexico.


I personally liked it for many reasons, especially since I related a lot to him. Having immigrated to a different country as a child, growing up in a different culture from my parents', adapting and reacting to how I was perceived, etc. I think it's one of my favorite books.

Um...Really? The only other male options are a big lizard creature and dog/man/thing. Got to love Bioware. Liarra (the only non-human female romance option) at least looks decent while the non-human male teammates look like things my former dogs wouldn't want to mate with.

my recent life in summary

-february 2012, broke up with ex

- April 2012 to October 2012, deleted all accounts on dating sites, started working out, lived for me and worked on my stuff, piano, videogames, sport, I was happy. I was strong enough to not care about what anyone would think about me. Didn't feel lonely even though I actually was.

- October 2012 to January 2013, I went back to online dating sites because I wanted to see if I'd get more acceptance since I had been working out and decided to grow a beard. I see my profiles get more hits and I attract more people. I start to get into the game " people like me, people don't like me" again... I change pics constantly and try to please the viewers, not even because I wanted to get to know anyone seriously but because I wanted acceptance, I wanted other people to tell me I look good, pure ego, not necessarily a bad or evil thing but silly, childish and nervecracking. I get the attention of people I'd never ever thought would care about me, like some big muscle guys, so that's nice. I have a couple of dates and I am happy for a while.

- February 2013 to May 2013, I reach a dead end with the dating sites and realise I can only offer and get sex there. I rarely want it though. Since I didn't want sex so bad, I bring down the sexual tone of my profiles and delete lots of pics and only have regular stuff with a nice shirt or a suit, hits are much less than when I was showing flesh, I don't give a damn and I begin some kind of sour relationship with the dating sites. when guys approach me with good intentions, I have nothing to offer, this time not only I can't offer love or continuity of any kind, but I have apathy towards casual chats.

this is the thing, I truly wish I could have the mindest of last year (april-oct 2012)... love me a little more and not need the love or acceptance of others. I have the strong feeling now it's time to get away for a from the internet dating scene, like last year, but I lack the conviction and strength.

I need a good friend to tell me to wake the fuck up and stop caring about crap and put my energy into good things and forget about the ego, pictures, profiles, the bodyimage and all those things that drain energy. I need someone to tell me "No matter what people tell you, NOBODY truly gives a damn about you having a beard or having a bigger chest and even if they did, it doesn't change a thing!! get the FUCK over yourself!"

I recently got the job I was hoping to get and I've been active with piano stuff so I really have reasons to be happy and o.k with myself, yet I still feel so much need of acceptance from others... I just wish I didn't.

I guess I am just talking with myself here, thanks for reading I guess...

If it's attention you seek, then maybe what you can do instead is get a different kind of attention. Do you hang out or talk with friends often?


What you're describing almost reminds me of that video someone posted a few weeks ago about a woman who had lost a lot of weight, but started going to bars to get attention. In the end, she realized that she wasn't getting any better and still felt bad about herself. She discovered this though therapy and a support group for people like her, who lost weight quickly but didn't feel quite right about how they looked/felt.
