I think it's time to admit I really dig Slurpuff.

Probably my favorite X/Y design :p His stats are a bit mediocre but his movepool doesn't suck, actually. He's one of the 6 Pokémon that can learn Draining Kiss, or if for some reason you go with a Slurpuff with higher physical attack you can use Play Rough. These new Fairy type moves have really naughty names, lol.

I really liked it back when I played it, can't wait to get back. The movement feels great, everything about it feels super smooth especially when you get a good feel for how to use the powers in tandem with your other abilities.

Also help that it looks stunning. Can't wait to see what they can do on next-gen hardware.

Speaking of books... what are some good recommendations? I don't know where to start. I'm picking up an e-reader this Friday and I don't know what books I should buy. I'm picking up the Hunger Games trilogy definitely (just watched the second movie and can't wait for the third movie), but beyond that I don't know.

Yeah. There's also a lot of good public domain stuff on sites like Project Gutenberg if you feel like delving into some classics. Personally I tend to like the stuff pretty strongly based in the psychological (Dostoyevsky, Hesse, Mann, Heart of Darkness, etc)

It's hard to recommend anything unless you tell us what topic/genres interest you.

Also, I have to admit that I barely buy books. I read about 2-3 books per month, but the last book I bought was maybe one year ago (and it's usually IT books). With public libraries all around me I really don't see the point of buying books when I can get them for free, read them and return afterwards.

I'm looking for Fantasy where magic is frequently used. Preferably starring a Wizard. Something like the Dresden Files

Read Battle Royale, is the better Hunger Games.

I have read neither but after watching both movies I want to read BE and stay away from tHG

Having a bit of a rough day.

I don't know if you remember this guy who I had a bit of a back story with who told me he isn't looking for a relationship when I told him I liked him. We've continued to talk and hang out. I think he started to seem a bit more interested once I started dating that other guy (that he warned me about and).

We talk pretty much everyday which is something I don't really do with anyone else, he calls me silly names "little boy" or "my little boy" at times. He compliments me. I'm trying to just enjoy being around him / the attention without giving it too much thought.

Last night I found out from a friend that he's leaving the country next year (I was talking to him today and he told me too). It fucking blows. I don't care if we were never going to be "together" at least I had someone who I felt I had a genuine connection with and who cared about me. But like everything else, he'll be gone soon (next June).

Also today's my mom's 58th's birthday, she lives about 10 hours (drive) from my town and she has been going through chemo for a few months.

Actually my profile picture is me :) I'm probably not your friend though, I do live in England but I'm pretty sure all my friends know I'm gay. Lol.


Also VICTOR I'm sorry to hear about your rough day. I had a really close friend once who left the country and it felt really lonely. It does get better though. :)

It happens a lot when you live in a shitty country like Venezuela. I'm probably going to leave eventually as well but with my mom being sick with cancer I'm posponing it until she gets better.

I don't really have any "close" friends other than him (well I kinda do but he's the only one that I talk to/see all the time.

Same here. Not much stuck this morning but I was quite surprised. Needless to say I'm sure all the grocery stores in west Georgia were out of milk and bread within minutes.

Not looking forward to freezing temperatures, I need new tires!

Change them now! Winter tires are better even at temps as high as 7C because the rubber is softer. Skimping on winter tires because "winter is rare" is like skimping on safety equipment and seatbelts because "crashes are rare".

I know what it feels like having to go sideways to avoid a car or feeling all four tires lock up in a steep hill (with ABS) and that's with studded winter tires at slow city speeds.

Joking aside I'm long overdue for a rotation atleast.

Edit- so I'm playing P4G for the first time. I've not completed it yet but one thing that's been on my mind is Kanji. As I understand it the studio made a point to say that his sexuality is left up to the player, but does the execution support that? I don't have an opinion on it yet since I'm still going through the game, but hearing my friends talk about makes it sound like the studio made a few missteps to keep it truly ambiguous.

There are actually snow socks that should work as well as chains :p

How far are you into P4G? Without spoiling they kinda pull something off to make Kanji seem straight and in my play through I never got to explore more than his slightly more sensitive side.

I'm not far at all, going to the bath house for the first time. I had a lot of the game spoiled to me over the years though.

kanji meeting naoto prior to being kidnapped definitely helps keep it in the grey area for me, as I guess it provides a solid catalyst for kanji to really second guess his orientation. Hence some of the obvious stuff like the bath house.

I got a bad eye inflammation after my laser surgery, so now I can barely see on my left eye, sucks so bad, I can barely do my job and just reading in general is a pain. >_< I hope it gets better tomorror. :/

The Earthsea saga! I'm making my way through the series now (on book 2 atm) and I'm really enjoying it.

I probably got some kind of dirt in my eye while I tried to scratch my eye the best I could causing the inflammation, yesterday I couldn't open my eye yesterday so at least it's improving. Made an appointment at the clinic to check my eyes on Friday. ^_^

I'm talking to this guy I know and I think he's projecting. He's like "You can tell me that you like gay porn", telling that to me a couple times with different wording. I'm like, "No, that's you" and he never denies it.

It kind of feels like he's begging me to say yes.
