Also, I've only recently finished Nathan For You after rushing through the entire show over the last two days (
and I am still watching Monster Mumei, I'm on episode seven at the moment but got distracted after seeing a segment of this on YouTube
). and it's fantastic. I have some doubts over the legitimacy of the reactions, but even still it's quite humorous, and I would very much recommend people to consider it even if it may not be your traditional viewing. The humour primarily stems from the presenter's deadpan, the awkwardness of the presenter, and the ingeniously absurd ideas presented.

Barring the incredibly obnoxious presentation of that video, yeah -- people have high expectations imo. People should try to get to know someone before writing them off as not "good enough" for them.

Exactly! Yea we all have certain wants, but you can miss out on a lot of great people if you go through a check list of things you want in a person.

The frustrating thing about dating is that, most of the time, the reason why things don't work out is a mystery.

Yea, sometimes a guy could have ludicrous expectations, but others times, it could genuinely be you with the problem. It's hard to know which because we're not mind readers.

I agree with both, I think both of these things are an issue.
In my city we have a great time and they say I had a great time but I just don't see it happening. I am like ok but we had a good time and YOU kissed me lol.

One time I kinda fucked up on a date because I was nervous and it was my first time.
I think people shouldn't worry if someone else you haven't even met is better than the one you are currently on a date with.

Yup, I'm fluent in french and english. I really wish I wasn't so lazy in high school and didn't quit Dutch after 2 years. Now I'm too busy to learn it and it's kind of a shame :/

Well that video was very obnoxious (I hate vloggers who use quick cuts like that), couldn't watch it entirely.

I would agree that people have high expectations though, and can shut down people without getting to know them better (mostly based on looks and "bad" first impressions). I used to be guilty of that, I would never have given my boyfriend a chance when I first met him (about 6 months before we actually started dating).

The video is right in the point that people shouldn't just rely on online dating.

Connecting with people, whether for friendship or dating, or whatever, is mostly luck based. The best way to succeed to meet as many people as you can.

Unfortunately people rely way too much on apps these days. It's pretty much a window shop fest without even talking to the person.

I went out to a bar and you guessed it they had their heads in their phones. Ugh.

And I would add that you can better see for yourself if you like somebody if you meet them in persona. Most people I know are acting way different on social media than they would act in a bar, at work or at home.


Oh, and your pictures are really great, bailey.
I always wanted to make a trip to England, heard there are some cheap flights or something (RyanAir if I remember correctly)

If you're not going to laugh at it, there's no point in going.

If my sister wasn't moving beforehand I would be going with her so we could mock it the entire time.

I really want to see the person the 50 Shade-fandom thinks is hot enough to play Mr. Grey. He must be an absolute god if Charlie Hunnam and Jamie Dornan aren't good enough.

LOL, that's how I watched Twilight movies with my mom.

She got very annoyed because I would laugh at stupid moments.
