Aww man, that's a little too far from me. I was hoping maybe we might be able to meet up or hang out or something but ah well. Unless you'd be willing to meet in the middle or something.
Enjoy LaGrange dude. Our mountains are the some of the best part of GA.
What are you doing over there anyways? Family?

:( sorry dude. I'm only here until Tuesday morning. I'm here visiting family that I haven't seen in about 4-5 years, including my 97 year old grandma.

If I was on my own I'd just make the trip up to you myself somehow but I don't get any control over the car on this trip, so getting out of here without my parents is a no go :((((

Next tiiimeeee! I didn't know you were in ATL, but next time I'm around I'll be sure to let you know beforehand :)

Okay. More lines from the game itself:

"Ah, Jeff, I just dreamt that you and I were taking a walk."

"Oh me, oh my... You... came to rescue me!"

Plus his constant worried phone calls.

Revoked.

Never received phone calls from him, just from dad. Ok I'm a bad gay guy :'(

I have the thirst for giant muscles today.

Hrm, I guess you're right. It just seemed to me like Sora's importance has been decreasing (haven't played DDD yet btw), what with the sizable focus on Roxas in 358/2 Days and the trio in BBS though.
It is important to keep in mind that during both of those games nearly everyone is related to (Days and Birth by Sleep spoilers in the following tags)
in the case of Roxas, Xion and Ventus
or bound to interact with
Aqua,Terra, Xehanort, Axel/Lea, Saix/Isa
Sora in some fashion. While Sora is indeed not the protagonist of those games, nearly everything that occurs in those games ultimately implicates him in some manner.

3D is half-and-half on character focus. The game is ultimately about Riku (and as somebody who was apathetic about the character in the previous games, he steals the show in a good way), but Sora gets implicated in even more shit. Though they do manage to do it in a way that makes Sora more interesting for once.

3D is... interesting
which in Caladri-code means you're probably going to have an aneurysm
. The main plot twist (which you've probably been spoiled on, but I'll assume you haven't) comes so far out of left field that even I just sat there utterly stupefied, and I generally revel in the other insanity I come across in fiction (this series in particular). There's some tiny pre-established basis for it but the application that they use is utterly brain-breaking and feels out of place even by the standards of the series. What they're setting out to do with it is narratively kind of neat, but it's unnecessary, especially considering the contrivance that they pull to realize it.

I think Pixar is coming as well. Toy Story, I think, is a given, but I could also see Cars, Finding Nemo (as an Atlantica replacement), Wall-E, and/or The Incredibles too.

I would really hate it if they started incorporating Marvel or Star Wars ips into the series though, and I doubt we'll see any other non-FF Square Enix ips either. (maaaaaaaaaaaaybe Dragon Quest).

Incredibles, Toy Story and Wall-E seem like they could be good worlds. I'm mixed on the possibility of Mahvel/SW myself, mainly because those have a distinctly different tone even compared to Disney's Touchstone pictures films. Like, I think it could work, but that would take a lot of finesse that I don't think the writing team really has.
I'd love a Sith superboss though

You're probably right about the SE part. It's a damn shame too.

Sounds great!
Hopefully I'm not over-selling it. 2FM takes awhile to really start shining. The game's difficulty starts to exceed 2's beginning with the first visit to Beast's castle, and most of the new optional content only starts to open up near the very end (and once you upgrade all the drive forms). The latter part is my only real complaint with 2FM. They do at least start sprinkling stuff pretty early with giving you the absent Silhouettes in the early game. (The first one can be fought right after clearing the first visit to Olympus and the others are unlocked at a decent clip throughout the main story). The extra abilities you get in the prologue on critical are pretty sweet too (to clarify, you get finishing plus, 2 lucky luckys and MP Hastera).

I'm a fan of architecture (and not a fan of brutalism), and Colby did a joke on Twitter a while ago that got me good..
Heh.

Colby's a pretty funny guy. He creates some really interesting stuff too, and I don't just mean his adult films.

Jesus. I love Colby Keller so damn much. Mmmmmm.

I'll totally follow your tumblr
I saw the pics you posted of the human perfection that is Ryan Kelley, so I'm pretty sure your stuff is right up my alley, no pun intended
! :)
Thanks. :)

Its main focus is hot guys + nerd culture from an LGBT perspective. It's nothing special, but I got a few exclusive things on there that some developers were kind enough to share with me. I enjoy working on it.

1. I would let Colby Keller brutalize me

2. Whoa, Lars's costume is pretty awesome!

3. I didn't know you had a tumblr. I'll be looking through it now.

Hours Left, I'm learning so much. I can't believe I never knew about localized BL PC games \o/

Why don't you link back to the publisher site or something, though? Or a PR or something. I'm curious about this "No, Thank You!!!" now.

I will take the manager/chef.

I usually always do, and I did link their PR statement in a different post + posted links to their twitter/tumblr page since then, but I didn't want to link that company's main site directly, because there's some stuff on there that I am not really comfortable with. If people want to find that site, it isn't hard at all, and their tumblr & twitter pages are more user friendly for everyone. (Plus, there was nothing beyond the initial tweet when I first made that post, and I wanted to get the news out as soon as possible.)

I always strive to give the creators/publishers of whatever content I'm posting full credit, since part of the reason I started the tumblr was to support stuff that appeals to LGBT gamers/geeks.

As for the dudes... I'm thinking Owner > Manager > Bartender > Pianist
I'll give them all a tumble though. ;)

Nice tumblr mate :) I shall be perusing that one regularly I think.
Thanks. :)

My goal is for it not to be just a re-blog blog (though I obviously do reblog some stuff since it's tumblr), but actually a place for people to learn about, celebrate and support games, movies/tv, comics, etc that appeal to gay dudes, with lots of related hot guys thrown in. I hope you enjoy it.

Ever since I made that post about No, Thank You!!! and it got 3,000+ notes (which totally shocked me), I felt like I really needed to start giving the blog some more attention, so that's why I reached out to a few developers about some exclusive screenshots/art, and they were very generous to offer me some. If you (or anyone) has any suggestions or comments about it, please let me know.

Yeah, I looked up the site because their name sounded familiar... I sure got something different than I expected, haha. "Er... am I in the right place?"

That one kickstarted VN looks nice, too. I'll be trying the demo soon. I probably wouldn't have found out about it without your tumblr, so, thanks.

Bleh, my mood is kind of low tonight.
Everything okay?

Cool, the demo for Coming Out On Top is really fun, and the writing and art are great. I'm super looking forward to it. (The developer, Obscura, is also totally awesome. She's really great with interacting with fans.)

Did you see the posts about Super Health Club? That's another English BL/Bara game that's coming out soon. Dongsaeng is doing the artwork for that one, and I'm in love with the look of the game.

Dongsaeng's art = HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG. <3 <3 <3

Woah, that's pretty cool, congrats!
Thanks. :)

He's doing them as part of his #ColbyDoesAmerica tour, so I'm not a special snowflake or anything, but it's still pretty cool. He so freaking dreamy, I legit can't. Perfection.

I had to look at it again, but, yeah, I saw them. I like the art style, too. Never herad of the guy, though, sorry :p I think my friend would like this one, but he would lose his shit if the Fantasic/Fantastic one came out. Everything I saw in the screenshots was right up his alley it's ridiculous. And if it does come out it'll hurt more 'cause it'd be iOS only, it seems.

I'm looking forward to all of these, goddamn.

Do yourself a favor, and treat yo' self to some googling/tumblring of Dongsaeng's art. Most of it is very NSFW. His stuff is pure heaven IMO.

Sweet! Followed too!
Gracias. :)

Yup! Thanks for asking.
Cool, I'm glad to here that. :)

You're probably right about the SE part. It's a damn shame too.

I was really surprised to see that characters from The World Ends With You are in DDD. I can't think of any other non-Dragon Quest Japanese Square Enix ips that could make it in though...Chrono Trigger would work I suppose, but I think that's it. If SE wanted to branch out a little they could try Tomb Raider or Hitman. lol

I'm sure you're not. The base was there in the vanilla version and from the sounds of it they fixed a lot of the game's problems.

Sorry about the rough patch CornBurrito. I know the feeling all too well.

Oh cool, I didn't know that. So it's a bit like Chain of Memories in that regard?

Yes. Having played Re:CoM a few weeks ago (against my better judgment) I couldn't help but notice the similarities. (General purpose and flow of the plot, Riku upstaging Sora, etc.)

Xemnas.png

I like Xemnas just as much as I do Darth Vader so either one works for me. > __ >

I still think it'd be a real crowd-pleaser at least.

If SE wanted to branch out a little they could try Tomb Raider or Hitman. lol

The image of Goofy looking down a sniper rifle is now forever ingrained in my head.

Today is my first day at school, with no crushes this time fortunately. I'm kind of scared but I hope I can get through it with no problems.

Do you guys wear perfume/cologne? I've never been particularly into it, I haven't ever bought one but I do use it when I'm going out, all of them have been gifts. Right now I ran out of the last bottle I had (it was just a tiny one). Before that I used to have "Just me" by Paris Hilton which I loved and some people complimented me about it back then.

I'm thinking of buying a bottle now, I'll probably get Just Me again but I've read it's an Aqua Di Gio clone so maybe I should get that. I'll have to go to a store but I feel often intimidated because there's always someone trying to sell you something and there are like a hundred different kinds.

I have worn cologne on occasion but mostly for like special events like weddings and such. I have done it a few times now within the last few months if I'm going out with friends, as for what I have used, it's Stetson with this pack of like three different colognes (Original, Rich Suede, and Fresh) with Fresh being my favorite of the three, they smells pretty good if your wanting to go with something a bit more manly smelling. Sadly they don't sell all three colognes anymore and just the original when I have searched to see if you can still buy the other two.

I was never much of a fragrance person either, but this last year I decided I should probably get one or two to have for special occasions. It took me a while to find one that I liked, but I came across this one last Christmas...

qDGbZdr.jpg

It's called Voyage d'Hermés (by Hermés, obviously.)

It's pretty unique, that's probably why I was drawn to it. It's not overly masculine or feminine, just a really clean sent. (I know that's a vague word to use, but I can't think of a more fitting description.) I like it a lot.

I also have a bottle of cheap body spray by Joe Fresh that I got as a gift. It's alright, I usually use it for everyday when I want to spice it up a bit. I wouldn't use it for important occasions though.

Nice! I also followed you, seems like a cool blog! :D
Thank you. :)

I work for a pretty big IT company, and was hired into a program for people who recently graduated college. There's about 30 of us all around the age of 25. After 8 months, it's become well known throughout that I'm "the gay guy".

While I haven't been met with any hostility, I get a lot of questions. Questions on gay culture and stuff of the like. I spent 30 minutes describing grindr to a guy. It feels weird as I'm basically representing a huge group of people, and I'm probably doing a terrible job.

So my question is, have any of you ever been the token gay in a group? How'd that go?

Yup, all the time. "Why do so many lesbians look like men? Don't you want to date a woman?" I had one poor straight boy even consider me to be the spokesperson for gay men, too, and he asked me all sorts of ridiculous questions about anal sex. Finally I was like, "Okay, when I grow a penis and stick it in a man's asshole, I will get back to you on that."

I don't mind answering questions for people, though. There are times where I've literally been the first queer person someone has ever met, so it's understandable they would have questions about things.

It used to happen to me since I only have straight male friends (so yes, I'm the token minority :p). Since the questions usually revolve around sex I just respond with something like "man, that's weird, WTF?" and laugh it off :p People eventually understand it's not your favorite topic to discuss. The thing is, I'm only out to a group of closer friends who know me pretty well, so I never really felt "exotic" around them.

I actually do not get questions about sex itself, I'm pretty conservative and I guess my circle of friends is also pretty conservative, or they already know I do not like to talk about it very much, because the topic is brought up very rarely.

They are more curious about relationships and when I'm going to stop fooling around and get a boyfriend, I tell them I'm still working on that. :p

I remember one time I was at the library I saw a middle-aged man looking at gay porn in a secluded area of the building, I found it really sad cuz I assumed he was married and had kids and that was his only way of indulging in his desires, don't get married to women closeted gays, you'll regret it.

I'm starting uni this September and this is exactly what I'm afraid of, being knows as ''the homo'' and getting stupid arse questions all the time.
