Not really feeling those, the placement is kind of weird to me, like it's too eye-grabbing and not in a good way. I actually prefer the half sleeve or whatever. Yakuza-esque tattoos can be pretty amazing.

I stopped following him just because there wasn't that much interesting stuff posted, mainly pictures of food or like a village he was visiting for a photo shoot. Meh.

Banshee is definitely better this season. The Rio Bravo-esque siege was the last episode I watched, and it was kind of a slog to get through, but the rest has been good.

You're probably right. I think good tattoos might be different though. Like the medium is unique, and the effect should reflect that somehow, instead of just being a neat graphic you put on your body somewhere. I think good art is usually a kind of a dialogue between the medium and the specific form, there's like a bidirectional quality to it, or they mutually inform each other. That's just a vague impression though. I'm not really knowledgeable about tattoos so I can't claim my opinion is informed.

Not all his tats are bad! Just not a fan of those tribal-ish lines and swirls and whatever.

Rats has a point that travel porn does make me pretty envious and vaguely frustrated, so I avoid that stuff usually. Food pics I can see anywhere (often on a table in front of me)... Don't make it sound like I only want him posting model shots and nothing else!

I must say it felt great, I didn't ever have the balls to do so before but I thought the guy was checking me out as well and thought it was worth giving it a try. He has a gorgeous french bulldog which is a big weak spot for me, he's very good looking as well, fit body, has a bit of a "bad boy" look (I saw a few tattoos on his arm). He asked me questions since he noticed I was not from here, so we talked for a while and then he asked me if I had plans, he said he'd call me to see if I wanted to go out tonight. Which I do.

Now I just have to confront the other guy I've been dating. In an ideal world I wouldn't do it yet but he probably wants me to go by his restaurant tonight. I think I'm just gonna wait and see who invites me to dinner first.
