I think I'm getting a kitten this year.

If you have a garage, I recommend keeping the litter box and food in there. I installed cat doors to give access back and forth for my pet. Reduces pet smells considerably, and you don't have to be nearly as nitpicky over litter box messes in the garage.

Another tip: buy a big storage tote from Walmart for $5, and cut a hole in the side large enough for a cat to fit in. Bam, you have a cheap enclosed litter box.

I probably sleep 6 hours on average on week days, which means this period of having to go to school on Saturdays has been nightmare-ish for me How can I even fix my sleep pattern? I can turn everything off and go to bed early, but I won't fall asleep before ~1:30 a.m.

Also, yes, I do take quick naps at work (my office is quiet and comfy, they're asking for it!) and on the bus (I commute ~2 hours daily).

At least a cat can fend for itself or keep itself occupied while I'm away. Also kittens are adorable. I'm thinking a pure bred manx or maine coon.

Also, kittens are amazing <3 I adopted one about a year and a half ago and I adore her so much. waited about a year after my old cat passed away because I seriously needed to grieve haha. I'm such a cat person! I wanna see pics of the new kitten if you end up getting one!! <3

I miss 'em.. we left her in Austin, as she wasn't really ours. She had lived in the cul de sac for about 6 years before we arrived there; she'd go from house to house for food and affection. She was like everyone's cat, and we didn't feel like it'd be fair to pluck her into an apartment in some foreign city. The lesbian couple who lived across the street from us still emails us photos of her from time to time. I felt horrible breaking the two of them up.

How do you guys function with less than 8 hours of sleep? I guess it's about getting used to, but I can't do less than 8 hours. Well I could, but the fatigue would kick in quickly.

If I have less than eight, I end up drinking extra cups of Irish Breakfast in the morning to help get myself into the game.

I find I function best with around 6.75-7.25 hours of sleep and a cup of coffee. 8 hours provides almost the same effect, but I'm generally a sleepy, slow-burning dude without my coffee.

I was cat sitting a few weeks back for my aunt's kitty who's a black manx (sp?) and she's adorable and sweet. I just want a cat who's intelligent and sociable and likes belly rubs. Most cats don't like belly rubs, but I want one that does. IT IS LAW

I like all of them. It's cool to see that the reviews trended up so much for Five and then Six became the best reviewed yet. But yeah, starting on 4 they played with the heist-movie-using-cars idea and ran with it to great success. I'm also glad they've been able to keep so much of the series cast involved since 4, and 7 is bringing the lead from Tokyo Drift back in, too.

I like all of them except 2, which I somehow never got to seeing, ha. But I'd say Tokyo Drift, 1, and 5 are my favorites. Excited to see what nonsense they get up to in the 7th movie.

Tokyo Drift gets way too much shit. Its not as bad as 2 fast 2 furious plus it introduced Han, the best character in the series.

Right? So sad in retrospect they killed him off. But bringing two characters back from the "dead" might be a lot even for that series, lol.

If/when I get to finally start writing for film/tv/junk, I've got lots of ideas for tons of different pulpy type projects, like old school racing/kung-fu/sci-fi type stuff, except they're all super gay.

*sigh* I want to do that kind of stuff now. :/

Lookin' good SS. Great choice in pet. Cats are literally the best. If you're thinking of Maine Coone, I actually have 2 (well one is a mix, part Maine Coone). Very recommended. They are amazing cats, very even tempered, loving, low maintenance. (I have 3 cats in total including my crazy ball of energy orange tabby)
