I'm kind of down with the tattoo. Not a Christian but in a general framework of 'spiritual' experience agony and ecstasy are on the exact same axis. It's kind of hard to get unless you have like depression or something, but I guess it works for me on that basis tbh.

But it's a little funny looking.

I don't mind spiritual tattoos. I envy people who have faith. I just think his white Jesus face with piercing blue eyes south of a random Chinese character and something else hiding under his waistband - all make for a bad combo.

Wah.. Wow thank you guys so much for the kind words :'). I love guys with big thighs myself.. But I feel like mine are just a bit too big ;___; To the point where I feel uncomfortable wearing shorts sometimes x_X

I'm gonna slap you. Thighs are awesome. I wish I had defined ones. Stop being so hard on yourself over something everyone loves.

no you're not i'm with you :D

Oh my garrrd. Blood Diamonds, you did good.

Is it bad half the reason I go for bike rides is to check out all the guys riding past me in their little bike shorts with their amazing thighs? lol

So I know it's kind of a crapshoot cause we're all over the country, but have we ever done regional LGBT-gaf meet-ups? They seem like they'd be fun.

Nope, I like your style.

i just noticed you can see his dick in the last 2 pics oop

Awesome! Looking at his, err, timepiece, it's apparently sometime between 10 and 11 o'clock..

Meanwhile, Jesus is sitting there right next to it, quietly singing a Violent Femmes song:
Don't shoot shoot shoot that thing at me
Don't shoot shoot shoot that thing at me
You know, you've got my sympathy
But don't shoot shoot shoot that thing at me..

Should I take it down altogether? :p
Absolutely not. It's a masterpiece in the Internet age. I appreciate that composition, personally.

I was only joking around, I think it's a good crop.

EDIT: oh no! I should have put a wink face, I think it's a regular ol' NSFW pic that is funny

Should I take it down altogether? :p
(I will.. although technically it's right up above if you put your hands on the screen a certain way..)

NO!

...no.

You're doing god's work.

EDIT:

Oh man the pining look on that tattoo's face positioned oh so perfectly in relation with where to his, uh, member is.

It's like that one one viral youtube video with the dog intensely looking at the plate of cupcakes in front of him. But with schlongs.

It's possible I'm an idiot, partially because of my blue collar background, the whole military thing, whatever... but I just can't be bothered to give a shit about what Billy Crystal said. For an old guy born in an era where Jackie Robinson was finally breaking the color barrier and playing baseball, that bit he said is laughably tame. I've heard some of the most terrible shit come out of the mouths of people, especially from the elderly, and what he said doesn't even come close to registering on the "that is offensive" list for me.

Shit, for a dude in his mid-60s, that stuff he said is progressive as FUCK. I mean Christ, does anyone remember the Duck Dynasty asshole?

I dunno. I can't be bothered to conjure up any outrage for minutiae. Like I said, it's possible I'm an idiot. I had to say my piece though.

Oh I get what you mean, it's not so much about what Crystal said (even though I don't agree with it), I was talking more about posts like this one being posted into the thread:

I don't disagree. I am also totally for gay rights. I think they should get married, have kids, etc. However, I don't want to see 2 guys going at it on TV. To me it's gross. Is that homophobic?

:/

Same here. Crystal seemed like he supports gays being in media and didn't even have an expectation that they wouldn't be in intimate depictions, but rather he has a level he thinks is too much and presumably, How To Get Away with Murder hits that level for him through the frequent sexualization. But I think his tone suggests he has some mild prejudice, aversion, and ignorance causing him to feel that the rather uncommon intimate gay scenes are making it 'everyday' and shoved down throats. So yeah, he is being a little bit restrictive and closed-minded about the spectrum of portrayals, but I don't think he is out to make anything of it negatively.

But GAF on the other hand...

I don't think anyone is actually worked up about what he said; it's about the ignorance of the people on GAF who can't bring themselves to even acknowledge that he said what he said. Not even to agree that it's bad - though that would be the next step - but just to admit that he said it. And what's worse are the people who argue that it doesn't matter what he said - he's Billy Crystal, Exemplary Ally of Gay People Everywhere! - and therefore of course what he said couldn't be homophobic in the least, and you, gay person, are being terrible by trying to slander Billy Crystal and attempting to do his entire life of good-works. Or just criticizing him for one comment

So, yeah. It's not what he said that annoys me. That's whatever. It was mildly homophobic, News at 11, I don't really care. The people who pick that hill to die on, though? The ones who probably think of themselves as gay-friendly or gay-supportive, but spend all their energy in threads like that arguing that gay people are just imagining slights? That's what I find contemptible.

I want to do a caption contest with it. It's a good candidate.

It probably needs to be in the next OT. Yup!

Maybe I'm too much of a Devil's advocate here, but I don't see why straight men should be comfortable with gay sex, that's pushing it. There's plenty of sexual acts I'm not comfortable with. Sure, live and let live, people can do what they want, but I'm going to find some things repulsive, some things indifferent and some things arousing, that's how sexualities work, otherwise everyone would be pansexual :p.

Well, I think you might be misunderstanding me. I'm not saying that we can't have preferences. I happen to have preferences myself. But I think a really low bar for straight men to clear is to expect them to be able to view acts between gay men on TV with the same equanimity as gay men view the equivalent acts between straight couples.

Is that really that much to ask?

Okay well, let's bring it down a notch to PDA. These people are still going to act grossed out or act like idiots in front of the gay couple. I'm specifically talking about two Men because these are the type of hypocrites that watch Lesbian porn all the time. When gay marriage becomes legal in the US, do you think they will suddenly not shame gay people in public? No. Marriage equality does not mean being treated equally to those people and when we all realize this then maybe we'll stop wondering if it's really "asking too much" from straight people to treat us with respect.

Yeah sure, but are you going to bring that topic up for no apparent reason in an Q&A session?

There is a massive difference between being uncomfortable with something and talking about, unsolicited, being uncomfortable with it in a public setting. Also worth considering is the larger narrative of how "gay" acts routinely have been condemned as disgusting and how people associate gayness with these acts that they're not comfortable with.

Yeah I get that, but people have to get used to it and I perfectly understand, many will resist, it's not a common thing. My friends struggled to tolerate men kissing each other, and I don't think they are homophobic. If they stucked to being repulsed by it without reason then that's another story, but its going to be initially met with apprehension. Hell in places like India it was actually a scandal a straight couple kissing in a movie. People have different boundaries depending on their upbringing.

If anything I feel modern film and tv shows are way overtly sexualized to the point of being off putting, maybe I'm just a prude. I feel there are plenty gratuitous sex scenes I did not need to watch, gay or straight.

Nope. Almost 21 and still haven't done anything. At this point in my life it saddens me, but whatever... I:
I don't need sex in my life to be happy.

Congrats on the Sex Daripad!! Remember to use protection though.
