List of PS5 Pro enhanced games

Probably mentioned already in this thread, but is Cyberpunk 2077 getting a Pro patch?

I wouldn't count on it, but its a possibility.

They added FSR after the fact to replace their TAA solution. I guess it comes down to whether they think it is worth it to implement PSSR in place of FSR 2.1 and what benefits they can get from the extra horsepower, but more importantly if that will get more people to buy the game and the DLC because they've largely moved on from Cyberpunk 2077 now.

Final Fantasy XVI already announced? No?

Thought so. Ok carry on.
FF XVI may need not just a patch, but a miracle as well :messenger_grinning_sweat:
BUT.... it will be interesting to see what boost mode can do with it, while the patch is cooking. It IS cooking... right SQUEENIX? :messenger_fearful:

Man, Capcom games in particular are really going to shine on this machine and it's absurd they're indirectly doing more for PS5 Pro than Sony's own titles.

Not only RE2R, RE3R, RE7, RE Village and RE4R are going to benefit immensely from this Console being finally playable at stable 60fps with RT, but two of their games are literally going to be better on Pro than any other version on any platform!

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the most egregious case, but same goes for Devil May Cry 5 actually as DMC 5 got an extremely good RT implementation that was entirely exclusive to Consoles, it just was never playable at stable 60fps, at least not at 4K, as it was going from 60 to even low 40's before.

The 120fps Mode will also see pretty substantial benefits from this Console.

Capcom way of future-proofing their games is paying off big time in this case, they should just always provide a stable 60fps mode on regular machines as well.

Sony need to mandate unlocked framerates from now on. If a game is targeting 60fps and detects the console is outputting in 120hz with VRR enabled, it should unlock the framerate. Some games do this automatically like the new Horizon remaster but it needs to be forced on all developers.

If Cyberpunk doesn't get a patch that allows them to get rid of fsr and finally add rt reflections, that will be the biggest Ps5 Pro travesty

It's fucking pathetic that no Pro patches confirmed for Cyberpunk 2077, Silent Hill 2, Elden Ring, Space Marine 2, FF16, and Black Myth Wukong!!

It's Sonys job to have lined up the most important games. Incentivize these devs, do whatever you need to do but get them ...it's not good that they're not there Day 1 because the odds then become very slim after that!

My god old man stop yelling at the clouds we get it.

Didn't CDPR say they were done patching the game?

They did say something along those lines which would be BS ..i still feel like their next gen console efforts have been weaksauce. The next gen patch was kinda meh and then they removed TAA and added FSR which made the game look worse ...CDProject has been shitty towards console with Cyberpunk but great for Nvidia card owners ...after the disgusting way they released it on console back in 2020 they should try to deliver consoles a high end experience now that we have better hardware

I don't think not at launch means it won't happen. Especially for the fairly new games in SM2, Black Myth and SH2.

The Pro dev kit would have come late in their development and wouldn't have been a priority through crunch into launch and post-launch patches. I'd expect all of those to get Pro support, perhaps even shortly after launch.

And some of those, including CP2077, use DRS for their 60fps mode so should benefit from res boost anyway even without Pro patch?

Some GT7 news might be close? Usually it gets an update on the last Thursday of most months. With a teaser going out about now..
Hoping to get a detailed list. Its also possible they pushed it back closer to the 7th.

I also noticed world of warships has been enhanced. Surely World of Tanks would too?

Has Wokong already been patched with a framelock, or is it still unlocked in all modes?

Really curious how this will perform on Pro.
I could be mistaken but on a df video I think it’s just 30 and 45 fps right now on ps5. Which was weird especially since the current ps5 doesn’t even go to 45 fps for vrr which is capped at 48. The pro sounds will go down to 40 so that should help some. We are under a couple weeks out from the pro release and we have seen the amount of supported games almost double so far since the initial announcement. I do expect that as big as the game is now that it will get a patch eventually in some form.

Is there any chance that Devil May Cry V: Special Edition would get some Pro enhancement? Would be awesome to play that in 4K 60 FPS with the ray tracing

Stutters? You mean frame rate drop? I don't know I haven't bought it yet. But I've had gaming PCs before, the frame rate are always better and less stutter for sure. I got frame rate drops on The Last of Us on my PS5 slim. I won't get any stutter on the PC.
Man wait till you find out a lot of f directx 12 Games have stutter and every graphic driver updatE you have to endure caching again.

Yes the graphics look better in most cases, but you pay a price! Directx needs revised massively going forward. They can’t have a handheld with these issues.

It’s really not that big of a deal.

Wonder when the embargo is up, probably early next week?
Who is doing the OT? Im excited to have a place where there's no price talk, no pc comparisons and where the only stand questions are which 3rd party ones are good for each position.

Edit: in case anyone is wondering my sister bought my nephew a stand on Amazon. $10. It's damn near identical to the official vertical stand.

It would be a nice to have a section dedicated just to the system and it's performance in various games people have tested. Like CP2077 would be good to know how it performance just from the boost. I don't have it on PS5 only on PC.

I played it on graphics mode or whatever it’s called and was fine with it not as sensitive about frame rate as some people but I’m really curious what the AI up scaling will do too: isn’t it applicable to any game without a capped frame rate? Is FFXVI such a game or is the graphics mode capped at 30 FPS?
