List of PS5 Pro enhanced games

I can confirm that Resident Evil 2 and 3 are now locked 60fps in the RT mode. In RE2 you can use the hallway leading up to the very first zombie in the gas station as a sort of benchmark. On the original PS5 the steam coming out of the fridges would send the framerate as low as the high 30s at some angles. I could not detect any drops below 60fps on the Pro and the VRR readout on my LG TV reported something like 59.94hz at all times. The game might still drop later on but should be well within the VRR window if it does. Between the PS5's haptic triggers and the PC version's traversal stutters introduced when they moved to DX12, this is the definitive version for me now.

yeah I've checked in police station and didn't notice any drops.
RT off and it's 120fps with mild drops.
Agree about haptics and so on. It even crashes with rt on my pc but that's 10gb vram for you

The only annoying thing is not being able to enable RT and HFR mode at the same like you can in RE4's Pro update. I guess that's just a limitation of 2 and 3 not getting an official Pro patch and Capcom not thinking far enough ahead.

Blacks ops 6 has a bad graphics glitch playing in the 60fps mode

Yeah, like I mentioned before I thought my pro was broken when I saw this as it resembles a GPU failure, however I checked on PC and it's in exactly the same place on there as well but much finer so not as obvious. Hopefully a fix will be issued soon.

I tested on a 7900GRE on PC so I guess similar hardware.

People absolutely do not understand Stellar Blade modes on reddit. They are so stupid and so loud...
PRO MAX!!!!! there is MAX so it has to be better right?! They don't know it's 50fps ("but it's butter smooth") and they have no idea it's 4k native with just taa. All the shimmering and ghosting included.
Pro mode is pssr, 80fps and clean as new glasses. But there is no MAX IN THE NAME!!!!!

This is what people don't understand.

Stellar Blade is running at a capped 80 fps (could go even higher!) while having much better image quality than the original 30 fps mode.

It's a dramatic difference, and it's why even Richard @ DF are changing their tune on the Pro and saying it's a bigger leap than PS4 Pro, and I agree. PSSR is that much of a game changer, yet people again are harping on he TFlops only and being proven wrong again by Cerny.

Yeah, I've realized Pro is just one fucking perfect Capcom machine in general.

RE2R, RE3R, RE4R: max settings at 4K 60fps with RT.
RE5, RE6: max settings at 60fps plus Image Enhancements.
RE7, RE: Village: max settings at 4K 60fps with RT.
Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2: max settings at 60fps plus Image Enhancements.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster: best version in general at above max settings 4K 60fps with RT.
DMC4 Special Edition: max settings at 60fps plus Image Enhancements.
DMC5 Special Edition: best version in general at above max settings 4K 60fps with RT.
RE Revelations, RE Revelations 2: max settings at 60fps plus Image Enhancements.
REmaster, RE0: max settings plus Image Enhancements (not best versions though, still 30fps and in case of REmaster I prefer GameCube backgrounds).
RE Director's Cut: perfect emulated version.
RE: Code Veronica: good emulated version.

And aside for the last two, by december each and everyone of these games will have physical versions retaining all of their features.

There's also that DMC HD Collection I guess, and I imagine we could add Dragon's Dogma games as well..

I’m almost done with a new RE2R playthrough on my pro. I’m at NEST.

0 drops on RT mode. It’s locked at 60fps. I’ll replay RE3 after a Claire run of RE2R.

I’m curious on 3 games:

BG3- I saw posts here on the improvement for visuals but apparently the game still isn’t 60fps, correct? Does PS5 version of BG3 offer a performance mode to hit 60fps?

Dragons Dogma 2- still run like cheeks? Max is 51fps now? Is that in town and 60fps everywhere else?

Lastly, Witcher 3- Saw a post above that maybe performance mode looks better? I think I’m 50 hours in so I may pick up from there to see.

There is some driver issues going on with the Pro im telling you. All of these flickering and weird artifact problems looks like some gpu driver issue on PC. I bet all we need is a firmware fix from Sony to solve these issues
100% there are issues with the Pro system level ...I've tested a bunch of games and have had many glitches and weird visual bugs I never used to. Spiderman 2 was wild n out on me for example. I expect a lot if these issues to be fixed in the coming weeks tho.

Both Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk look much sharper on performance mode to me. If it's not placebo, then dynamic res got a nice boost on average.
Would be cool I guess, but Witcher 3 already looked perfect to me in Performance Mode on PS5.

This is the disc version and ran at flawless 60fps on base PS5 with only noticeable drops (in the entire game) while running using Witcher Senses in Novigrad, but most likely now entirely rocksolid on Pro.

Jedi-survivor. The most divisive game on the Pro. Looking sharp and run solid, but there are still edges alias although not distracting. Like l mentioned before, going from 1200p to 1440p would have a pristine 4k like image and clean up those edge alias nicely.

Look Jedi Survivor looked so bad that I seriously thought I had installed the PS4 version. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled to make sure it was correct. It looks horrible on my screen. Can’t believe they let it out like that

I change nothing. I play all my RE games on controller.

Main thing as always is don’t try to move and shoot, wait for the crosshairs to shrink before firing.

Controller IMO for RE is the best way to play because you will panic and miss shots which adds to the suspense.

RE4 the dual sense is used very well too for the radio calls.

Just did some quick testing. Spider Man 2 looks amazing. Honestly I put it to max out RT affects and it looks great. Also another game I enjoy is FC 25. Not only did EA did great with F1, but looks like the effort was there for FC 25 as well. Game is smoother and you can clearly see the difference in graphics. I wasn't impressed with Star Wars Outlaws as much.

Go with default for RE2 and RE3, it's the reticle that sucks, reason why I always play both with no reticle and have no issue whatsoever (just aim at the center of the screen, becomes muscle memory quickly). It's waay better to me because the moving/adjusting reticle is distracting as fuck, by removing it believe it or not you're much more efficient.

RE4R is different, default settings suck balls (which is hilarious because it's the only one that shipped with correct default brightness/gamma settings). This is what I use, found them on YouTube and while maybe not as good as default RE2 and RE3, and I'm sure if you're used to KBM you're going to change some things significantly, I found them much, much better than default:

Got all the Shooting Range challenges/objectives. Not easily, but did it nonetheless.

thanks. I see.
I also used to disable crosshair in FEAR. I played it on hardest difficulty and all. Always without crosshair

I have no idea if they fixed it, I only play the game on disc version where the glitch is present.

It's not technically pop-in, it's the game at times confusing procedural vegetation placements. LOD management itself is absolutely impeccable, there's no pop-in whatsoever in the game in 4.00:

Look at the vegetation assets and their shadows, they don't change at all no matter the distance.

Hey man, I remember how much you cared about this.

I'll give it a shot when I have enough time, even though I'm extremely skeptical to say the least. Maybe CDPR at some point simply fixed the issue with an update?

Me too man, I was hoping CDPR would drop a patch and something tells me they might - they've always been one of best developers out their especially when it comes to supporting their games across a range of hardware.

Witcher 3 raytracing mode, running at 60 FPS using PSSR would be pretty dope.

I'd have to see what the non glitched version looks like lol I've played some more today and there is definitely some aggressive pop in from time to time, nothing comparable to what I had on my base PS5 mind you but I'd say it's still not perfect, that's weird.

It's like a glitch that changes grass placement, in a split second. If you run thru a patch of grass, and come back, it may be positioned differently the second time around.

Normal pop in is fine, even if aggressive. I will send you a vid showing the real glitch

my pro must be a busted console or something.

I’ve changed DNS settings, tried two separate wi fi options, and it drops from the internet connection regularly. It’ll either disconnect or say DNS error disconnect.

When it’s during a download then I have to manually go back to resume the download.

What sucks is I know if I play a MP game online now on this thing it’ll randomly DC me. Which means no fighting games in the future would ever be viable for me on WiFi.

I really don’t want to run a long ass Ethernet cord from the pro through my living room to where the modem/router are but I have no choice.

It looks great now on performance, I just started it today again after getting fed up with its performance at release. Luckily I didn’t pay full price but used their subscription service for a month.

Also, for people that don’t have Jedi Survivor, on PlayStation store, EA has a promotion for their basic service subscription for $.99 for one month. Subscribe then you cancel immediately so you don’t get billed next month and you get a month to play through Jedi Survivor for a buck. 😅

I still had lots of my 2hr trial left with Dragons Dogma 2, so tested that earlier. With VRR enabled I found the best settings were RT on, with PSSR set to balanced. Everywhere I went (which didnt include any cities) was very smooth. With RT on and PSSR set to fidelity, I had drops outside the VRR window. I also tried disabling RT and then going for fidelity PSSR, which ran great - the problem then is lighting takes a huge hit.

So RT and Balanced PSSR with VRR seemed best to me.
I agree, this is exactly how I’m running it.

Do you have IPV6 enabled on your network? If so, disable it and see if that fixes it.

Gents, wtf is up with HDR in Resident Evil 2 Re ? Have my C2 calibrated, followed the in-game instructions and...everything looks horribly washed up !
Is it bad HDR implementation or am I missing something?

Other than that, it runs silky smooth on the Pro with RT on (minus some instances during cutscenes where there can be some.minor drops)

They need to at the very least patch it out so you can use RT and HFR at the same time. Uncapped you'll get significantly higher than 60 fps on these games.

HDR was always bad in this game. Highlights are nice but everything is brighter and black level is lifted.

It always had that issue unfortunately. You should find some areas are OK though.

i do not understand how it is possible for Sony to be officially announcing Black Ops 6 being PS5 Pro enhanced at launch and then going total radio silence full 2 days after it was supposed to happen. They could at least honor us all with an update of when it’s coming, why it’s been delayed and what improvements it will bring. At this point in time, it just looks like false advertising to stir up more excitement for the PS5 Pro launch date.
Because they don't have marketing rights anymore and MS foots the bill now so why would they? They just want you to know it's there. However MS wants to tell you about it is on them.
