Please tell me this is a meme. When was Fury Road good?
You're not wrong. The best video game stories are usually on par with action movies.Nearly every (or all?) praised video game story is overrated, tbh.
Hey bobbeh, what did you think of The Wolverine?
I thought it was mostly alright. Botched the landing pretty hard though
Sounds about rightI thought it was mostly alright. Botched the landing pretty hard though
The two best X-Men films are rated-R.

oh god, the hype level is ridiculous.
Is that forest scene we see in the trailer the best indication of the claw chaos one can expect, or does the action get even crazier? A yes or no is goodLuckily got tickets to a screening tonight. It was largely great, very The Last of Us in tone. There is one scene in particular that was incredibly executed that I'm sure everyone will mention whenever they discuss this film. Definitely worth seeing.

Crazy isn't the word I'd use. Violent is more appropriate. Gritty even more so.Is that forest scene we see in the trailer the best indication of the claw chaos one can expect, or does the action get even crazier? A yes or no is good
So is this movie in any way like a Leone movie at any point, for instance Once Upon a Time in the West?
Man, imagine this movie with a Morricone score.
Considering what Last of Us is influenced by, just take "Last of Us" as shorthand for "movies/shows/comics/books with a similar tone and general narrative framework"
There's a definite western vibe, but it's not a Leone western vibe. At least I didn't feel it.
It's hard to go into such levels of detail on any aspect of a film while remaining spoiler-free. Someone more eloquent than me might be able to pull that off though.
