I honestly hope they dont do that. The NBA wants to enforce an age cap, but most people take olympic basketball more seriously than the FIBA world cup.

Because FIFA doesn't want Olympic football to overshadow the World Cup. Not that there's any chance of that actually happening anymore; it might have been a real concern in the 1930s.
