What happened with the Japanese and GB gymnasts today?
Japanese filed a complaint after competition that one of their athletes got too low score for his practice and judges checked video and upped his score, so they ended up 2nd and not 4th

Unless your player is molded from the tears of gods, then no, it's not the same. How does it look like, send me a pic, something tells me its the same Silverlight player that we have here in Canada for the CTV.
Isn't it funny that only German websites are reporting that "information"?
Red white blue. Looks like Barack sent some fighters to let them know who's boss. USA USA

Else lucky Korean for drawing the right straw.
I can't tell, but after they checked twice I'm going to side with the refs for now. Again, she didn't show too much sportsmanship (in my opinion), so at this point I have a hard time feeling sorry for her right now (though I still wouldn't mind if she won at least the bronze medal). I just hope they don't boo the German fencer afterwards.
There's always some bullshit at the Olympics.

Maybe they are the only ones except forIsn't it funny that only German websites are reporting that "information"?
do you watch BBC? they just explain that Shin couldnt have one because there was a technical infringement during the last second and she was given a yellow card, that's why they put a second back on!

Yes, I think they just said she committed a technical infringement, and got a yellow card?Unless I misunderstood it the bbc presenters were just saying the clock was reset to 1 because of an infringement on Shins part? Confusing.
Holy shit, that Colombian lift to get an Olympic record. Talk about heart to get that.

There should be a rule that if you don't get results then you don't get funding, or it drops progressively depending on results over a period of time.
Wow. So who got the medals?Japanese filed a complaint after competition that one of their athletes got too low score for his practice and judges checked video and upped his score, so they ended up 2nd and not 4th
Or that could be for the French, or even... this is a longshot... Britain.I could be in this picture! I was standing outside at the concessions on that side of the Stadium when they flew over.
* Sorry for posting so late... I was in London until late last night so I'm just catching up on this thread. I also didn't want to use my cell data when I was there since I don't have a good travel plan. The opening ceremonies were amazing to see live, and I also got to go to a couple of other events Saturday too.
I couldn't give you a picture that gave justice to all of it's features.
I think that already happens, and there's trials to get in the Olympic squad too. There should be a rule that if you don't get results then you don't get funding, or it drops progressively depending on results over a period of time.
15 year old gets gold. Soni comes back to get silver.

Sorry.
It'd take into account all the athletic tournaments. Not just the Olympics. If you don't win then the money is going to waste. So the only people in the world who get funding are the 3 medal winners? You dont see any potential problems with a system like that?
