We all got to hear straight from the horse's mouth that they aren't going to use rubber ammo or even give them a bad hair day with water guns. The robbers think they are entitled to do this under a popular political view, so there is no moral complications for them either. With that considered, I see no reason for this to end anytime soon.

I was burgled by shitty Chavs so I've no sympathy, but I just don't want to see the Army walking the streets. It's too easy to deploy them again for civil protests etc. I think we just have to let the police do their job, and if the word of the law isn't a deterrent, then the law needs to change.

I get your point, I hate the assholes, they deserve a punch etc, but...

Censoring the internet denying freedom in the future and the army on the streets isn't a future I want for my kids. That's all in saying...

what's with the bloodlust itt. the rioters are terrible but just arrest the fuckers and stick em' before a judge to get justice there, no need to get all excited about them being physically beaten.

Like I said, the focus is totally in the wrong place tonight. The hoodies would be just retarded to go out in London like they did last night.

Probably not, but talking about killing people and gouging peoples eyes out, even in defense, just seems kind of fucking crazy to me :/

I moved out of London (and the UK) about a month ago.

Riots just hit my (former) area.

My brothers and father are still there, so hopefully they can protect themselves and their store.

That's the irony of it. It's thanks to an underclass of fearless, mindless thugs that we had the biggest empire the world has ever seen.

In the old days they would've just been shipped off out of the country to fight the French. I'm okay with that as a compromise solution for now.

maybe its a cultural difference i dunno, but i feel like if this happened over here the police would be more decisive. also if it were this bad the national guard would be called in.

hell the cops in boston used rubber bullets on red sox fans after the sox won the WS in 04. that was a much smaller thing than this.

Being an American, I'm kinda glad that the U.S has gun laws to protect law-abiding citizens.

Any thief in America knows that one cannot go rampaging through the streets of an American city without being shot by a vigilante. Hell, theres tons of citizens that are just waiting to kill someone that steps into their house.

You can't just go arrest a group of several hundred people. They simply don't have the manpower for that. People like myself are angry because the police are not being allowed to use water cannon, tear gas, or pepper spray to clear the streets. No curfew has been put in place, nor has any aggressive police action been undertaken.

The police basically just stand there and watch and neighborhoods get destroyed because their leaders are afraid that some criminal might get hurt if they let the police do their jobs.

So you know each and every person rioting and know that none of them have ever done any good? I dunno, i realize what they're doing right now is fucked up, but wishing death on people just doesn't sit right with me.

Love how there's a whole bunch of police in my town and people start talking about them preparing for riots, as well as how there are rumours that riots will occur.

Turns out Stevenage FC are playing Peterborough in League One. :lol Police are always around during big games like these.

Fucking social media folks are showing just as much intelligence as the rioters.

I am 100% sure that none of these arseholes are immigrants, many may be immigrant born, but 99% of them will have been born in the UK. It's the immigrants who are standing up for their shops and homes and the feral locals who are destroying everything. Nothing to do with race or immigration.
