Sucks that a really good game from a good developer that has been quite vocal and open to suggestions; is caught in all this. Then the drive-by trolls that use this as "console wars".
Hopefully, this will be solved sooner than later so that either people try the game and move on to the full game, another game ...or just have it in their download lists.

I suppose I'm more talking about having a right to get your money back, etc. Even then, Sony would have to pull the PS+ version entirely (or delay for months, whatever).
Assuming a day or two delay, it's all crying, not a license to ask for Sony's head.
I get it has been anticipated, I'm in the waiting boat as well...but c'mon now. Is there a precedent Sony has set to justify the complaints? Do they do this kind of stuff all the time?

I got what I paid for this month. Driveclub is an additional bonus on top of what is normally offered. On the month it was originally supposed to be given, they gave me something else instead.
Don't give him any ideas. Last thing we need is video games in the supreme court(again).
I used a 14 day trial just for DRIVECLUB and I'm pissed. 1 day wasted on nothing. If I can't download DRIVECLUB by midnight I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau, Gamestop Headquarters and my Congressman. This is ludacris.

Well I think the timed nature of the access makes it worthy of criticism to have the PS+ free edition unlock late.
It's also sort of insult to injury; Sony marketed to a ton of people for 3 months that this would be out 11 months ago.
However on the other hand those people that partly bought maybe a year of PS+ thinking they'd be playing a free version of DC most of that year hopefully and probably ended up with a great value; no reason to be dramatic as this is still a dirt cheap and very generous service.
Free is a better word to add
I'm aware of what the PS+ edition is; basically a really good free 2 play version, and don't hang me for saying that as the devs themselves used the F2P term

The problem is as simple as being irked because the game hasn't arrive by what time was expected. That is all. There is nothing else to say. It's annoying.
Wouldn't call it useless, its my opinion, which I am allowed to share.

People defending Sony over this are ridiculous.
It's 10pm on the east coast now - that's not "today" for most people on a week day (particularly counting download time) because, surprise, surprise - most of us work (well, those of us that don't work on the PSN Store in NA work anyway).
The fact of the matter is that the PSN store in NA has been run by a bunch of buffoons for years and for some reason SCEA doesn't care and SCE as a whole doesn't seem to want to do anything about it by making examples out of any of the idiots that are apparently in charge of it.
It's hurting their brand and it's hurting the software that's affected by the incompetence of the people that they have running the operation.
Between the incompetence on the store and the incompetence in the PS4 firmware development team and the fairly lousy WWS output thus far we can only hope MS pulls out some NPD wins through the holidays so that maybe Sony will start giving a shit about actually doing right by their customers.

I'm not sweating this too much, but it is annoying. It was supposed to be a launch game with "most of the content" from the full version. We're getting it almost a year later with a lot less content than we were initially lead to believe. It'd be nice if we could at least get it on the day we expected.
