Not me. I caught up on Season 1 during the summer after the season was over. But I still consider myself to be a fan during the whole show's run.

I just happened to see "Greatest Hits" when it aired, and really liked it. I then tuned in next week and watched "Through The Looking Glass". Probably the single worst episode a person could start the show on :lol Then I bought S1 and S2 in the summer of 2007, burned through them, burned through S3 when it came out, and started watching LOST live with "The Beginning Of The End".

Smokey is more entertaining, mostly because he looks like Locke and gives us straight answers. It sounds like he's just trying to overcome the shitty hand he's been dealt. I assume he's ultimately gonna be seen as the show's anti-hero. Doesn't seem the least bit compassionate though.

People keep saying Jacob is just a straight-up douche, but I'm starting to believe there is in fact an altruistic method to his madness.

It's hard to think back, but I want to say, I might have watched a little bit of the pilot when it aired, and didn't get back to it until 5 or 6 episodes from the end of season 1. But I'm not 100% on that, I might have watched it after the 1st few episodes.

After that I think I watched a few repeat episodes that ABC was airing during the scheduling. Been watching ever since.

Hooked from the pilot. Sadly I bailed on the show in Season Two right around where Charlie dresses like an infant. Lots of unemployment last year led to lots of catching up. Now I'm pissed at myself for ever leaving.

I would have definitely started at the beginning if I'd known what I was missing. I started at the first 6 episodes of the 3rd season, which is why I don't hate them as much as everyone else. I watched the first 2 season within a 2 week period, and watched the rest every week from then on!

Indeed. Once he learned he wasn't special in any way and that everything he thought was important wasn't really, he kind of lost most all of his purpose and confidence, both of which motivated him to lie, cheat, and steal to protect the island.
