this is why i took the poll at the end of last season and wanted to have 28+ to do another year. then we have it and a few people quit or don't show up and then we're back to playing a handful of CPU games which really drags the league down.
on one hand it's frustrating when people commit to something and then bail. on the other hand this isn't a job and if playing the game is a chore for someone i guess i can't really blame them for quitting. i hope we can get through the season and finish it without totally throwing the season in the crapper. i've had some great games this season.... when i have human opponents!
Shit. I didn't actually mean that to come off as sarcastic. I don't mind playing a CPU here and there in this online franchise. I somehow enter the game with more confidence then I do against a human (yet the latter is still more enjoyable). Hell, I may even come out with a win and a better record!
But I wouldn't have minded playing Rors again after doing the dumbest thing in Madden history last season.

Couple of things I do in general and I did that game:
1 - I practice running the ball a lot between games. It helps me be patient and wait for plays to develop
2 - All of my blockers have high AWR. IMO it helps them find who to block when in space.
3 - My entire OL has high STR. It keeps holes open longer allowing me to squeeze through areas that are already normally closed for most people
4 - I take what you give me, I saw you were stuffing the middle runs with Suh so I started going outside with some inside to keep you honest.
5 - I put my backup high strength RT Geoff Schwartz at TE to keep Spencer from blowing plays up.
I love running the ball. I think it's a science.

Well I'm glad there is a well thought out strategy to it on your part at least. Obviously it's really paying off for you. I really need to figure out what it is I'm good at and start to practice that. Problem is I have so many weak areas it's hard to figure that out. I always end up just getting really frustrated and end up blowing every offensive possession I have.
I feel like my defense is usually pretty solid Suh was a HUGE add for me and has really boosted my run and pass rush. But any decent player is going to find a wide open WR somewhere. I just can't seem to do that. It's pretty disheartening that I've been in the league for 3 years and still only have enough wins to count on one hand not counting CPU games.
