Yeah, I posted a while back about my experience playing AS the Pats and still thinking they are way overpowered. CP has been busy with school/work and has not been able to play his game. He and I are communicating and will get it done ASAP. Sorry if we are delaying anything.
As an example, I threw the ball up 7 or 8 times DEEEEP to both Stallworth and Moss. Think I completed 5 or 6 of them. All 60 yards + Stallworth would just run past people and catch it. Moss would outrun them, or proceed to jump 18 feet in the air and catch it with his taint.
Basically, if you play against them, KEEP YOUR SAFETIES DEEP. You bring them up towards the line, and the Pat's throw deep. TD.

i played jube as the pack once i think i lost 42-28 or 35-24 or something. i didn't get burned deep much cause i kept my 2 deep, but i could not keep up with moss on PA drags or slants, he's too fast. i'm confident if i play them again i can manufacture a win somehow

Lonestar: that's awesome that you're doing that. If I had one thing to say it'd be that every sack = 1 tfl so that means that sacks are really worth 12 points. Not that big of a balance issue but it's something to consider if you haven't already.

Yeah, I understand that. But looking at the stats, and this could be wrong. I see some players that have more sacks than TFL, and I'm sitting here thinking that the Madden in game stats, doen't count the 2 as the same. BUT, sitting here thinking, I'm sure that TKL and Tackle are the same, so I'm going to lower TKL to say, 2 points (that way it's 3 per tackle+2 per TKL, to get my original 5 point TKL.)

I went and revised it. Seems every sack isn't listed as a TKL as well. But every Sack is a Tackle. So I lowered Sack to 5 points, so that it, plus the tackle, is 8 points. Guess I could lower INT's and FR down from 12 to 8-10. DTD's I could as well, but come on, if a defender can score a TD, that's big in real life as well as the game. See CK's first game against Shawn.
Still, remember, this is from yesterday when I grabbed the stats, and some people had 5 games played, most had 4, some less. Then in the case of me, my game against DM and FMT, I was on defense alot! I mean, I think DM had the ball for more than twice the time I did. Tatupu got alot more tackles in those kind of games. But going off "pure numbers" this is how it's coming out. A better look would be at the end of a week (if everyone has finished all their games) or at the end of the season.

There is always a way to make the stats not look terribly unrealistic.
