That Gideon has me giddy, though it's odd that his design overlaps on Elspeth's former turf considering she's still considered alive.

Edit: is it wierd to anyone else that Gideon, the literal "I'm a soldier" Walker is now Knight token guy while Elspeth, an actual Knight, was a soldier producer all her cards?

The creature type makes way more sense if it's a signifier for creatures that do stuff with the exile zone.

Maro is great. He's a very good ambassador for the game and one of the most vocal writers on game design alive. When I give him a hard time for his terrible Legendary idea or how bad Avacyn Restored is it's really because his overall track record is pretty good so the randomly bad things stand out.

A not insignificant part of the game's current success can be ascribed to his particular approach to design compared to how everyone else was doing design before he became Head Designer
