I'd look at sales of volume one to see if they went up, rather than opening sales for a volume that likely won't even be covered by the anime.

JoJo Part 1 vol 1
This was a pretty good shoujo manga. Jonathan is the naive weak male lead but then toughens up later on, Dio is the asshole villain that hates our MC and then we have our love interest, Erina. They had backstabbing, violence, bullying, rivalry, and even NTR. This manga has it all.
It did get a little actiony near the end, they need to fix that.

That number would be impossible to get since you need at least 30k to get on the chart and I somehow doubt the first volume of Sankarea doubled its numbers due to the anime
Bleach first week sales are up by 50k+ compared to the last few volumes. Time to viciously jerk off with my tears...in the car.

What a chapter. Luffy showed us some moves, Haki is gonna be so interesting to see, and we know Oda is gonna present it all well. Glad he lost this little battle, though. Would be weird to see him immune to gaseous poison despite the Megellan stuff.

I think I was just burned out on JoJo; I had essentially marathoned it up until that point, and while I was in to the prison story thing at first, I quickly lost my fuse, opposed to part 4 and 5, in which I was completely hooked. I think I'm up to chapter 60 in Stone Ocean.
I really liked Part 4 and Part 5; they're probably my favourite parts so far.

Someone is retranslating them; I think it's been a slow thing though.
I remember finding this out a good ways through part 4, after I had passed the retranslation of course *sigh*

Well I joined in late 2008, started my first three manga, Naruto, Spiral Bonds of Reasoning, and eventually Bleach and Our Kingdom, in late 2009 after my first anime, Naruto. First post in the manga thread was late 2009, I think...have we really know each others for three years now?

I don't think he's "dead" either I think his body is in there with the corpse. Dio winning was sucky and Johnny didn't beat him in the end and just survived.
It was totally unforseen that's for sure.
