Toriko fans must really hate this arc. I think HQ will bounce back, if not, it suggests that a five game match is too long. But TsukkiHina development has been great.
Also I hope viz picks Best BLue and not the dance manga this upcoming week.

I don't think Luffy talks about himself unless a relevant subject comes up in front of everyone. It's more like a personality thing than weird writing as Oda seems to plan future plot/character developments

I like how at one point, Medaka Box felt like some kind of parody about how non-sensical the plot + powers in Bleach were, except now Bleach feels like a parody of that.

So what do some of you guys think of Boku no Hero Academia?
I've read about half of it so far but some reason I don't have the motivation to catch up. It's not bad but it's a bit generic and cliched at times. Plus the pacing goes a bit too fast and doesn't develop the World and characters enough, which makes imo plot developments unexciting. I find it lacks good Worldbuilding which makes it hard for me to care about the world the author created.
So for the readers who have caught up, does it get better?

It isn't bad, but it hasn't gotten better at the world building or the characters. It's firmly in the "new threat arrives, heroes deal with it" territory. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

But then when you finally are given the chance and Marika is confessing all her feelings you are unable to reply and wuss out. Marika gave him a great opportunity to fix things but naw this shithead does the opposite. Also Marika transfers to a different school.
