Also man, it's like theme bukkake in one volume. We have the debate if intelligence is a sin according to the bible, an exploration of the post-apocalypse being caused by the bubris of man, conscience in AI, the battle of man vs nature, whether humanity is truly unique and if sacrificing feelings means sacrificing humanity. All those themes right in you face straight up after one volume can be pretty overwhelming.
Just a bunch of bored teenagers getting high.
Are you saying that the story is a parallel on the war on drugs?
Or more accurately it's a metaphor for slaverySo the characters having to live beside nature is a metaphor of how we as humanity needs to be one with the reefer.
Or more accurately it's a metaphor for slavery
Once you read more volumes, you will notice this is more related to the story than you may believe at first! Drugs and their effects on society, in the backstory and in actual characters is touched several times.
Or more accurately it's a metaphor for slavery
Also sort of disappointed I read my 30 chapters of Suzuka already. We should have done 40 or 50.
Haha, alright, guess I can see some things a mile away. It's going to take awhile for me to completely finish it though. Getting low on funds. T_T
Also goddamn dark horse really needs to get their shit together and put their stuff up on kindle.
It's always slavery with you!
And both Dark Horse and the UK publisher doing Eden hasn't finished releasing the entire comic (18 volumes), after several years. ¬¬
Yeah, they have 14 as the newest one in my comic-store.
Ah well, I can tell that I'm going to enjoy it enough where I can justify collecting the whole thing.
Seriously, I've been trying to hold back to not read all 30 chapters in a row, but you guys aren't making it easy. Also sort of disappointed I read my 30 chapters of Suzuka already. We should have done 40 or 50.
Couldn't go any other way at this point really.Fuuka 32
So he finally did it and chose her. She better end up staying as a good character by the end of the series.
Bocchi na Bokura no Renai Jijou 9
Just the casual stalking chapter.

Was it even a decision, really? I don't know that he was explicitly into Tama, was he?
I wonder how much of a boost Tokyo Ghoul's manga will get this week considering the ending of the anime and manga.
He was well over Tama and into Fuuka by the time he meet Tama again, she never had a chance, and I can't imagine the events of the last few weeks helped.
Eden: It's an endless world vol. 1
Firstly, props to actually having a gay dude that is actually a sympathetic and nuanced character whose homosexuality actually plays into the story in a very tasteful way. Too bad he died.

I like it. Also I see we already have two separate casts of characters. I like that in my post-apocalyptic story.
Oh yeah, art is cool.
