Nah the mechs are the weakest part of the game imo.
Seriously? I guess flying around the stages must be pretty fun, I saw some sick gifs.

I'm surprised you aren't.
I really didn't expect to see so much super interesting artwork for this series already.
It's weird how this might be one of the season's biggest hits and it pretty much came out of nowhere.
Haha. Popping up in different Jump manga after the end of Medaka Box would be the most fitting Ajimu conclusion I can think of.
That girl better be going "OH HO HO HO HO"I hope it's a short one.
Failure of a Heroine volume 5
This keep being one of the better shojo I'm reading at the moment. Between the silly facial expressions everyone makes (as shown up there), the way the interactions between the characters are handled and the whole idiocy of the premise it manages to stay fresh and funny while moving the plot forward, building the characters steadily and creating interesting situations.
I see that the scanlations have really picked up the pace since I last looked and are even getting close to the last volume. Given how the official release in Italy has been coming out slowly, resisting the urge to check scans is gonna be hard.

Yeah, the sense of speed and mobility really makes this game and the titans really get in the way of it.Seriously? I guess flying around the stages must be pretty fun, I saw some sick gifs.
Better than Mirrors Edge.Yea i feel so as well.
Moving around can be fun once you get it.
Soma
Damn that's a hell of a pick for the first match. Seems like something that Elite Ten dude would have some "extra" involvement with imo.
Will this be where Alice joins the others (lol) or is she still too strong.
I don't actually understand Eizan's goal here. There was some kind of feud with Soma, but he's mostly helping him get farther so far. Perhaps he just wants to build up his reputation so he can have a Shokugeki with him with his Elite 10 seat on the line? Is there a prize involved in the tournament? I could validly see Soma actually getting on the E10 by beating him since he's literally the lowest ranked guy in the E10 who isn't Erina.
But in any case, Alice is about to get Worfed.
You know that saying, the higher they are the harder they fall.
Though I expect soma to thwart whatever he tries to pull anyway.

At worst she'll get beaten in a fuzzy way that won't actually "prove" anything, similar to Hayama winning last time. It's still way too early in the manga to start drawing powerlevel lines.I don't actually understand Eizan's goal here. I'm kinda hoping that he actually gets expelled at some point.
Then he goes on a training arc with a trickster mentor his dad will introduce.
Complete that shounen circle.
Shokugeki no Soma

About the dude, we don't actually know anything about his motivations or goals besides "that dude's kinda annoying" so who knows what's going on. But I agree that if the way to get into the E10 is by a shokugeki with one of them, he's going down. I'm also guessing whenever he does, it'll be after Erina passed him (or proved her superiority to him in a roundabout way).
We're still clueless about this whole scenario. Is this tournament to replace the graduating E10s? Is it going to involve unseating the current ones? Are there gonna be more than one in the tournament who can get in? How the hell did Erina get in before this tournament? Will there be more chances after this tournament aside from waiting a year? Is there even an equivalent tournament for the second years or is this the last chance (outside of E10s betting their status in a fight)?
Man I'm still waiting for Soma's Doujima to happen. If it ends up being Erina that would just be silly. Isshiki could do it though.
Get expelled, get forced to go through some training arc his dad sets up on the condition if he passes it, he'll get back in.
Passes it and he'll grown and we can see everyone else grown as well during the time he was gone.
A win/win.
Unless Erina was part of the training arc.

This. THIS is going to happen.
I'm sure of it.
Yeah, I like this one the most. Have him lose a Shokugeki and get expelled. Time-skip of a few years where he travels all over the world like his pops to level up.
The new arc for Silver Spoon is "Four Seasons". Arakawa is definitely done with the Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter format. I suppose this new arc will cover the entire second year. Good to know she's smart enough not to recycle the same formula for another school year. This is gonna be good.
Are we that desperate for a Soma timeskip? Don't think we need one. Can just drag things out for going through the ranks. Maybe add an underground group.

The School itself is pretty much the Hogwarts of the series. I don't think its relevant what Soma does outside of it.

So one big arc?
The only outside the school stuff we'll care about will involve moremagiccooking. Like, a return to the hometown to torture that poor childhood friend.
I'm just going to be disappointed if Alice joins the harem. Its a lot more interesting when your ultra large cast has more complicated relationships than:
Every female ---> MC <------ oblivious
Pretty sure Alice will join the harem just to spite Erina.
After watching almost all of the anime (should finish it tomorrow), I'd quite like to read the Hyouka novels. Hopefully a Western publisher or something will pick it up and release translated versions of the novels. It's really fascinating, and I love Chitanda.
I'd like to read any of the nuances of the story the anime may have missed and if the mysteries are more complex in written form.
And if there's any romance :3
3 novel volumes are translated. And 1 volume of the manga is done too.
Woah, back up a sec, when did I become the resident porn guy? I'm as pure as distilled water lapped up from the hands of an angel. Is it the avatar? It's the avatar isn't it?One of the other points is that there are people who share common lewd interests that may not be following the thread that closely, so they can just peer into the list and see what A Huge Battleship is reading and think, "It's probably porn" and "Reading". That's the reason why I label each link with a poster name.

Rock Paper Scissors1
Harem series set in a floating academic city in the Pacific, where kids with superpowers reside. Too early to say for sure how it'll develop, but the setting's home to 1,048 student councils so they'll probably be beating the bananas out of each-other at some stage. I lost count of the number of panty shots about halfway through. Based on a light novel and will likely be bad. Added to backlog.
you messed up the gif placement
