I don't get why people are so upset over the fact One Piece (deliberately) slowed down the pace after Marineford. It's unrealistic to expect any series to maintain such a crazy high or intense pace for so long. Time skip and slowing things down was a good thing the audience needed a breather and the series to lower the adrenaline and slowly build it back up.

And I still think Dresden is crazy for thinking Magi has somehow gotten worse, yes the beam war went on a bit too long but after that the excellent writing and world building has returned and has been better then ever.
