I know, but the scanlation is incomplete and the anime ends around his F3 career, iirc (never finished it).
Character design is better than Soul Catchers, but too bad that sports manga generally suck.

No... I'd say ass class's art is worse.
It is still getting regular updates so we'll get there someday.
Smoky BB's MC actually reminds me of a more matured Ganta from Deadman Wonderland.
Unless the art for Soul Catcher(s) has improved a lot since the one-shot then ass class has, IMO, much better art.

Granted, the only art from soul catchers I've seen is the one posted up top, but man ass class can be really ugly at times. Most of the time it's just mediocre.
What is it actually about by the way?

Bad chapter overall imo.
Too much humor injected into a chapter that should have been more serious considering what is going on.
Really hope the 2 dragons that Sting and Rouge fight ends up taking them out with them. \
Overall want more out of these Dragon Slayer battles.

Ass Class has some generic art, sure, but Soul Catchers has probably the most boring and bland same-facey shit art that I've seen in a long time. My only real gripe about Ass Class' art is that Nagisa looks like a girl and unless the mangaka fixes that, I refuse to believe that she isn't a girl.

Shin chan is ugly but it is so consistently ugly that it becomes stylistically ugly. Ass class just seems mediocre to the point that there really isn't a strong style to it I feel.

I feel like the main dude is an adolescent fan fiction on how to be a player.
It's about two boys whose music has the power to move people. The brown hair one can see peoples emotions and can manipulate them. To stick with the music theme he is a conductor.

I think Matsui just isn't a very good artist lol, probably didn't help working under the bobobo guy. His shitty art worked pretty well for neuro though.
Seeing all these terrible manga getting serialized in Jump, you just have to wonder what sort of bad shit are they rejecting.

I thought the instructor pointed out that Nagisa has a girlish physique which was part of the reason he underestimated him? Of course I could be looking into it too much, I do that sometimes.
