Well apparently someone can predict it all. We can stop speculating guys, he's got it.

Why do we even read a damn thing if we're so jaded to plotlines and story anymore?... Maybe I'm with Aoshigi, but are we really this cynical anymore? I mean, I love the bitching about the "POWER OF FRIENDSHIP" in Fairy Tail as much as anyone else, but can we not enjoy some obvious setup chapters and some clear trope examples? Do we all have to act so elitist?

Wonzo, I apologize for using your post as an example. I don't meant to call you out specifically, as I really don't know you and can't stereotype you into one of the personalities I've seen around here. It's nothing personal, I just think it's weird that most people here come off pretentious about things they read week in and week out and still continue to read.

Bah, I need to drink less. If this gets me banned for a while, nice to know you guys.

Execution is the most important thing above all and so far Assassination Classroom has failed at that for the past several chapters. I should've noted that I'll seriously drop this if it doesn't get its shit together in a chapter or two as any enthusiasm I've had for the series has pretty much dried up at this point.

So I guess this is what a Japanese revenge porn flick would look like. The funny part is none of the victims killed in the first volume were even part of the original 4 people that Oyuki wants to kill. Sure most of her assassination jobs involved killing assholes, rapists, and murderers, but some of the causalities are hard to justify, especially in the last chapter which had some disturbing choices made by Oyuki. The assassination plans themselves have been very creative and much better than I thought they would be.

The art was pretty good, but sadly none of the artist's others work have been translated. I would have loved to read Dousei Jidai

Have you read The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls? Its got a similar revenge thing going with women. Same art and writer as Basilisk.

That was really silly for a while, but in the end they took the easy way out, so that's a bit of a shame. There's not much behind this if they're just gonna get the safe seats again at the end of the day.

Really struggling to see why the signs are such a big deal. Actually, I'm not sure that I've ever seen signs being a thing in other sports manga - usually it's taken for granted that the opponent won't be able to leverage them, and they're barely mentioned aside from "oh by the way, signs exist" despite being used regularly everywhere

Also Tanaka, I love this guy.

Well, you weren't kidding. Got to see all the remaining Generals(I believe) in combat briefly. Damn, Cloud and the ex-convict were awesome. Giant demon monkeys are always cool. Nice focus on Lenalee's character as well.

Oh, and the Level 4 Akuma was creepy, to say the least.

Welp, that's that. Great end to the fight with the Level 4 Akuma, Lenalee's new boots(perhaps related to the Noah because of the Teez that appeared when she first equipped them?) are cuh-razy, and working together with Allen's Clown Crown made the fight even better. I loved learning more about the Noah, thought the idea that they disguise themselves as humans in high political / economic positions just to start wars for the purpose of using the victims to create more Akuma was fantastic. Some good humor throughout as well.

I guess I'll order the next few volumes. Ended on a cliffhanger with most of the Black Order turning into zombies / vampires, so I have to know what happens next.

It's funny how I never thought about how the whole spiritual world in Berserk works. The witch is really mysterious, as she should be, I guess. I really wonder what she is, though, seeing how Gutts' brand kinda reacts to her, but apparently not in an evil way.

It makes sense that it's a big deal when your signs are being read but in this case you have to wonder why Hinata and Kageyama didn't think of something more elaborative than uh "bring" and "send".

Well yeah, it's a big deal when your signs are being read.. until you come up with a replacement 1 second later and they're back to square one.

Hell I think this is a chance for them because if they just go "okay we're switching the meanings of bring and send now", that's an easy 1 point.

I didn't expect Gutts to talk his way out of that situation, that was really good thinking. I'm still surprised that I don't hate Ishidoro that much. He's definitely not the usual annoying shit kid and that's really nice. That magical girl however ... bleh. Sure, her magic isn't bad, but I don't like her character at all. It's tiring that everyone always have to be tsundere or whatever to Gutts. "Him? What? No way! What would I ev- ... Wow, that's a big sword".

Even if the trolls are just weak fodder, Serpico seems really OP now. Slicing, jumping, flying, it's pretty good. I really hope the Church-Lady will be more usable in the future. While it's nice of her to be so protective of Caska, she can't do shit, when it comes to actual fighting. She's dead weight, just like Caska.

Also, that Orge is totally a penis.

I feel like this is the low point of the whole manga, just make it through to vol 25/26 and you're pretty much good.

I didn't know things were like this.. I knew not everyone saw RPG Berserk in the brightest of lights, but really now!

I love her though, to the point I want to see more of the new movie abomination just for seeing her animated.

Goodnight Punpun v1
I remember reading and liking this some years ago but for some reason I haven't read any further than the first volume. Randomly picked it up yesterday when I was out shopping. I still like it, there are striking contrasts everywhere, the semi-realistic character design and Punpun's family, the serious, not so serious and even fucking random and ridiculous moments.
Now I have to choose between continuing with the scans or waiting for the next tankoubon.
