I'm not too worried about it really happening more, but I was more meaning the Magi we haven't met yet. The fact that we haven't met him coupled with this makes me worried we could end up with a guessing game down the road.

Its probably the greatest new manga I've discovered this year

I caught up on the JoJo anime a few days ago and decided to skip ahead and just read the rest of Part 2 and into Part 3.

I just finished Stardust Crusaders so...

I now understand why a lot of people have problems with this part and call it overrated. There are far too many Stand users of the week and it just goes on and on. There was no need for Stand users like the baby to be in the story at all. It just excessively extended the story for no real reason. It doesn't help matters that they all just come out of nowhere. Dio or someone like Vanilla Ice appearing every so often to be a thorn in the side would have helped ease the problem, but Vanilla Ice just randomly appears at the end and Dio does nothing until the finale.

Thankfully, the cast of characters is great and their interactions made the drawn out story worth reading. I didn't like Jotaro as much as Joseph, but he was still a badass protagonist. Old Joseph was just awesome. Kakyoin and Polnareff were both well fleshed out supporting characters, especially Polnareff. Even a character like Avdol, who you would figure to be bland, turned out to be pretty cool.

Most importantly, this was where the story started to live up to the title of bizarre. I'm eagerly awaiting to see how the other parts are going to top an orangutan reading porn magazines, dressed like a captain whose stand is a fucking ship.

I'm looking forward to reading Diamond is Unbreakable since so many people seem to think it's the best.

What really surprised me about the twist wasn't that she wasn't really Scheherazade, but that she was. I totally expected her to be separate from her but she's functionally the same.

Griffith continues to be Jesus, it's really weird. But then again, has he really ... Anyway, it was a weird scene all around and I'm sure Sonia played a part in it. She's definitely a great asset for him.

The demon emperor being an Apostle makes sense and that should be Griffith's demon to slay, but Guts is probably unintentionally going to help him.

The fight in the city was nothing special, I must say. It's kind of ridiculous to think that Rodrick can somewhat keep up with the demons, where trained knights failed. They got slashed pretty easily. While Serpico keeps doing his thing, with being OP and all, it's nice to see that Isidro is making some progress. He's much more confident and almost doesn't struggle anymore. I just wish Puck would stop doing the Star Wars references. It's not funny, Puck. Stop it. Just die. Please.

7 Billion Needles vol 1

that feeling of utter destruction

Very fun sci-fi thriller manga. Our MC, Hikaru shares her body with an unknown entity known as Horizon, trying to hunt down an alien, Maelstrom bend on destroying the Earth. The fast pacing, tension, mystery surrounding Maelstrom, and the action scenes really made the first volume a very entertaining read.

There are still 3 volumes left, but with the big showdown at the end of the first volume, I'm curious as to where the story will go next. I suppose either more aliens will be introduced, or Maelstrom will manage to escape. Though the latter option should be hard since the moment, Maelstrom changes hosts, it will be nearly impossible to track him down again. However, as long as the pacing stays consistent and the sci-fi elements don't go overboard then I will keep enjoying the manga.

No what's foreshadowing is having haki all the way back in chapter 1.

Haki is less of a power and more of an explanation for the shonen trope of overcoming the odds.

Genos is best hero and personality and so flashy when he goes all out even for simple stuff, while Saitama just seems like a super slacker at times though makes hilarious comments. The House of Evolution story was compelling (though why would the next step in human evolution still have megane? assuming their functional and not just style). Really good antagonist design and they drew him so detailed at least, could feel the emotions.

Of the new A-rank characters of Border introduced, Jun Arashiyama is easily the best one. So much excitement and everything willing to praise Osamu. The girl, Ai Kitora has easily the worst personality of the bunch so far, and so stiff. Why treat Osamu that way. Thankfully Yuma always says the right things. I wonder if next chapter we'll actually see the Arashiyama squad take out some Neighbor.
