The cover was nice and the story wa actually promising for a while, but I will not stand for this kind of ending, especially since Marie's one friend from before being kidnapped is all "Oh, she's basically a doll now. This man before me is the one that kidnapped her months ago and marie will never be the same again, but I'll just go with it. LOOK AT MAH MARIONETTES!"
That sounds pretty sick, especially considering this is a supposedly a regular manga.
I was thinking more of the one best manga but it's my fault for not clarifying that.
You should be reading quality instead, like Golgo.

If it's any consolation, my pending list is much larger than that, I already selected what I think it's the best.
Finals of freshmen year were supposed to be for studying, but I ended up playing Enzai 100% in Fall, and the Halo 3 Beta in Spring.
I shaped up after that debacle! (although Persona 3 portable nearly destroyed my final spring semester)
Always glad to see more satisfied customers. I'm like 15 chapters behind, but I want to wait a little longer so I don't blow my load in 30 minutes. Whoever decided to make this like 6 pages a week is EVIL.
7 Seeds, Akira and Medoka Box are all things I would like to read at some point. I'd also love to read a Soccer manga, but there are too many of them out there to even pick one and start with
The Akira manga's pretty bloated (and pointless when the fantastic movie exists) and Medaka Box is a real mixed bag so you're not missing much. 7 Seeds tho
I don't think there is even a standout soccer manga in the first place so no big loss there. Watch Shoot if you have to.

I think shuukyuu Shoujo is alright as far as soccer mangas go, but that's one more for smutgaf.

Woman is dissatisfied with her work and life, she feels trapped in the mundane. She dreams of exploring space.
One day, she hijacks a spaceship (?) and then is rescued by an alien giant space ship, where it seems to meet her soul mate who is involved in a epic battle. And I'm making it sound more normal than it is, it's kind of aimless, way weirder: this is 80% drug-fueled shit.
We can call the art "sketchy", I think. Reaaally sketchy. Though it has some nice color pages at the start

Whenever some crazy ass bullshit happens to you in real life, just read a chapter or 2 of banana no nana. I guarantee you real life becomes an improvement in context

In a strange tribe, full of customs of ritual dances, there are problems between the mask craftsman, whose heir in the job is his middle son Tsubaki instead of the more talented loner and younger son Yuri, and the rain dancers who use the masks, who have to call down the rain, one of them the talented but still green Mozu, the eldest son.

After reading Zero and watching Ping Pong, it's clear he likes issues like talent vs lack of it, and the frustrations, expectations and ambitions that surge from, in this case mixed with all the family issues.
Alas, this ia short story of 100 pages, it isn't as developed as it could be done. In fact all it's resolved much faster than i thought.

Yuri is a bit "touched by the gods". He seems autistic or something close, but in that condition he can connect with the spirits easily, and I suppose that's why he can craft the marvelous masks, even he is recluse in his home.
The father wants him to go outside and know the real world, he considers to be lacking in that department to be his true heir, even if everyone already praises Yuri's masks.

Hopefully 900 will still have something big in it. I'm just let down that six years of the Bourbon arc lead to this. There's still time to have something important happen within the next few chapters.

Yuri sex on the moon is actually one of the manga's best moments, which shows how awful the whole thing is.
...I need something to wash the memories of this thing away.

Pretty cute. I like the premise and the various interactions are rather fun to read. I guess however that due to its rather slice-of-lifey nature it doesn't really go anywhere? Definitely continuing this though.
